The manipulation results in stack-based buffer overflow. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. | ||||
| CVE-2026-75596 | 1 Netty | 1 Netty | 2026-08-20 | N/A |
| Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.1.137.Final and 4.2.17.Final, the default io.netty.handler.ssl.SniHandler constructors use the pre-handshake ClientHello aggregation path in handler/src/main/java/io/netty/handler/ssl/SslClientHelloHandler.java at io.netty.handler.ssl.SslClientHelloHandler#decode, where handshakeBuffer.clear() and writeBytes() recopy all previously received body bytes for every additional TLS record. An unauthenticated remote peer can advertise a large ClientHello and deliver its body in thousands of tiny records, causing quadratic CPU work on the event loop before the TLS handshake completes and degrading TLS handling for other clients. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.137.Final and 4.2.17.Final. | ||||
| CVE-2026-75526 | 1 Django-cms | 1 Django Cms | 2026-08-20 | 4.4 Medium |
| django CMS is an easy-to-use and developer-friendly enterprise content management system powered by Django. From 5.0.8 until 5.0.9, ContentRenderer.render_placeholder in cms/plugin_rendering.py can pass stored, attacker-controlled values to ContentRenderer.render_exception when plugin rendering fails in edit mode. Values from get_short_description(), the exception message, the placeholder, or placeholder.source are interpolated into a cms-rendering-exception heading and later returned through mark_safe. Because the heading is not escaped, stored HTML executes in an editor’s browser, and settings.DEBUG does not prevent the custom heading from rendering. The fix uses format_html to escape the message before safe placeholder output is returned. This issue is fixed in versions 5.0.9. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73259 | 1 Cesanta | 1 Mongoose | 2026-08-20 | 5.4 Medium |
| Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to 7.22, a remote attacker can send a crafted percent-encoded request path to a deployment using MG_ENABLE_DIRLIST and persuade a user to visit it. The mg_http_serve_dir() and listdir() path in src/http.c places the decoded request URI into the title and h1 elements without HTML entity encoding. The resulting reflected cross-site scripting executes in the Mongoose origin and can expose session data or perform actions as the victim. This issue is fixed in version 7.22. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73257 | 1 Cesanta | 1 Mongoose | 2026-08-20 | 9.1 Critical |
| Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Priro to version 7.22, a remote unauthenticated attacker can send an HTTP request containing both Content-Length and Transfer-Encoding: chunked. The cl_count and te_count checks in the mg_http_parse() and http_cb() paths in src/http.c accept both headers and prioritize chunked encoding, while a Content-Length-preferring reverse proxy can use a different request boundary. This CL.TE desynchronization can inject requests that access or modify resources in another user context. This issue is fixed in version 7.22. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73251 | 1 Cesanta | 1 Mongoose | 2026-08-20 | N/A |
| Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to 7.23, a network attacker can impersonate a TLS server to a Mongoose client configured with a multi-certificate CA bundle. In src/tls_builtin.c, the mg_tls_init() function stores the bundle in tls->ca_bundle_der while tls->ca_der.len remains zero, and mg_tls_recv_cert() uses tls_bundle_find() to accept a Common Name match without calling mg_tls_verify_cert_signature(). A forged self-signed certificate can therefore satisfy hostname and CertificateVerify checks and enable interception, credential disclosure, traffic modification, and malicious responses. This issue is fixed in version 7.23. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64846 | 1 Nixos | 1 Nix | 2026-08-20 | 2.8 Low |
| Nix is a package manager for Linux and other Unix systems. Prior to 2.35.0, a malicious derivation executed with the recursive-nix experimental feature can exploit a time-of-check/time-of-use race involving final symlink handling in the LocalStore restore path. The race can cause writeFile to follow a substituted final symlink when opening a path with O_TRUNC instead of enforcing FinalSymlink::DontFollow, allowing the Nix process or nix-daemon to create or truncate an empty file outside the build sandbox with the daemon user's permissions. The primitive does not provide arbitrary-content writes and requires winning the race. This issue is fixed in version 2.35.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-61034 | 1 Oracle | 1 Webcenter Sites | 2026-08-20 | 9.1 Critical |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle WebCenter Sites product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: WebCenter Sites). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle WebCenter Sites. While the vulnerability is in Oracle WebCenter Sites, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle WebCenter Sites. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.1 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H). | ||||
| CVE-2026-54742 | 1 Lemmynet | 1 Lemmy | 2026-08-20 | N/A |
| Lemmy is a link aggregator and forum for the fediverse. From 0.19.18 until 0.19.19 and 1.0.0-alpha.20, a community moderator can feature or unfeature posts in other communities through federated CollectionAdd and CollectionRemove activities using CollectionType::Featured. After verify_mod_action authorizes the actor against self.community(), the receive handlers in crates/apub/activities/src/community/collection_add.rs and crates/apub/activities/src/community/collection_remove.rs dereference self.object as an ApubPost and update featured_community without verifying that post.community_id equals community.id. A moderator can therefore target an unrelated post owned by another community, push it into featured feeds and listings, or undo another community's legitimate curation decision. This issue is fixed in versions 0.19.19 and 1.0.0-alpha.20. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54740 | 1 Lemmynet | 1 Lemmy | 2026-08-20 | 6.5 Medium |
| Lemmy is a link aggregator and forum for the fediverse. Prior to 0.19.19 and 1.0.0-alpha.18, a lower-ranked remote moderator can remove a higher-ranked moderator by sending a signed ActivityPub Remove activity to the target instance. The local API uses LocalUser::is_higher_mod_or_admin_check to enforce moderator rank, but CollectionRemove::verify in crates/apub/activities/src/community/collection_remove.rs only calls verify_mod_action. CollectionRemove::receive dereferences self.object as an ApubPerson, creates a CommunityModeratorForm, and calls CommunityActions::leave without checking that the actor outranks the moderator identified by the object field. In communities with federated moderators, a junior moderator can therefore strip senior moderators from the community moderator list even though the local API rejects the same action. This issue is fixed in versions 0.19.19 and 1.0.0-alpha.18. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54624 | 1 Django-cms | 1 Django Cms | 2026-08-20 | 6.5 Medium |
| django CMS is an easy-to-use and developer-friendly enterprise content management system powered by Django. Prior to 5.0.8, render_object_structure in cms/views.py renders cms/toolbar/structure.html for a PageContent object without calling user_can_view_page(). Any staff account can request a restricted page’s structure when CMS_PERMISSION is enabled and the page has view restrictions or CMS_PUBLIC_FOR is set to staff. The response exposes plugin get_short_description() values, including link names, URLs, and text snippets, rather than only the page shape. This issue is fixed in versions 5.0.8. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54616 | 1 M2team | 1 Nanazip | 2026-08-20 | 7.1 High |
| NanaZip is the 7-Zip derivative intended for the modern Windows experience. From version 1.0.88.0 until stable version 6.0.1698.0 and preview version 6.5.1742.0, the Lz4Decode function in NanaZip.Core/SevenZip/CPP/7zip/Archive/SquashfsHandler.cpp rejects only a zero return from LZ4_decompress_safe even though malformed input produces a negative error value. The negative int is converted to the unsigned SizeT destLen and then truncated into outBufWasWrittenSize, causing ReadBlock to trust an attacker-inflated _cachedUnpackBlockSize. During fragment extraction, an attacker-controlled inode Offset can make memcpy read beyond the _cachedBlock heap allocation and place adjacent heap contents in the extracted file, or crash the process. This issue is fixed in stable version 6.0.1698.0 and preview version 6.5.1742.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54491 | 1 Koel | 1 Koel | 2026-08-20 | 7.1 High |
| Koel is a free, open-source music streaming solution. Prior to 9.7.1, outbound podcast and radio fetch paths perform a point-in-time App\Helpers\Network::isPublicHost() or isSafeUrl() check without pinning the validated address, and most paths lack redirect-hop validation and do not revalidate every redirect target. PhanAn\Poddle\Poddle::fromUrl(), PodcastService::getStreamableUrl(), PodcastService::isPodcastObsolete(), App\Rules\HasAudioContentType, and App\Rules\SafeUrl can therefore follow an attacker-controlled redirect to an internal address or connect after DNS rebinding changes a public resolution to a private one. These paths are reachable through podcast and radio APIs, including createPodcastChannel, createInternetRadioStation, refreshPodcasts, apiResource podcasts, and radio/stations, allowing an authenticated user to request internal services or cloud metadata and potentially receive parsed or streamed response content. This issue is fixed in version 9.7.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74944 | 1 Mozilla | 2 Firefox, Thunderbird | 2026-08-20 | 9.8 Critical |
| Use-after-free in the DOM: Core & HTML component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 154, Firefox ESR 140.14, Firefox ESR 153.1, Thunderbird 154, Thunderbird 140.14, and Thunderbird 153.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74961 | 1 Mozilla | 2 Firefox, Thunderbird | 2026-08-20 | 9.1 Critical |
| Side-channel in the Web Audio component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 154, Firefox ESR 153.1, Thunderbird 154, and Thunderbird 153.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-75910 | 1 Aws | 1 Athena Federated Query Clickhouse Connector Deployment Template | 2026-08-20 | 6.5 Medium |
| Incorrect privilege assignment in the ClickHouse connector deployment template in Amazon Athena Federated Query prior to v2026.17.1 could allow an authenticated remote user to read arbitrary AWS Secrets Manager secrets in the deploying account by pointing the connector's connection string at an unrelated secret and at a database endpoint under the user's control, causing the connector to transmit the secret to that endpoint. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to aws-athena-query-federation connectors version v2026.17.1 or later and ensure that any forked or derivative code is patched to incorporate the new fixes. Alternatively, to remediate this issue, users should redeploy the connector with the current template and supply a non-empty SecretNamePrefix value. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74968 | 1 Mozilla | 2 Firefox, Thunderbird | 2026-08-20 | 5.4 Medium |
| Site isolation issue in the Graphics: WebRender component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 154, Firefox ESR 153.1, Thunderbird 154, and Thunderbird 153.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74245 | 1 Redhat | 3 Openshift Update Service, Quay, Quay 3 | 2026-08-20 | 5.9 Medium |
| A flaw was found in Red Hat Quay's exported logs feature. An unauthenticated attacker with a valid file ID could download exported action logs without proper authorization. While file IDs are complex, they can be intercepted from plaintext email or webhook callbacks. This vulnerability leads to information disclosure, potentially exposing sensitive data such as usernames, email addresses, IP addresses, and action-specific metadata. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74244 | 1 Redhat | 3 Openshift Update Service, Quay, Quay 3 | 2026-08-20 | 5.9 Medium |
| A flaw was found in Red Hat Quay's Stripe billing webhook handler. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to forge billing events by sending crafted JSON requests to the `/webhooks/stripe` endpoint without validating the Stripe-Signature header. Successful exploitation can lead to the unauthorized resetting of a namespace's build quota to its maximum and trigger unsolicited billing emails to namespace administrators. | ||||
