CVE-2026-41247 2 Std42, Studio42 2 Elfinder, Elfinder 2026-04-28 9.8 Critical
elFinder is an open-source file manager for web, written in JavaScript using jQuery UI. Prior to 2.1.67, elFinder contains a command injection vulnerability in the resize command. The bg (background color) parameter is accepted from user input and passed through image resize/rotate processing. In configurations that use the ImageMagick CLI backend, this value is incorporated into shell command strings without sufficient escaping. An attacker able to invoke the resize command with a crafted bg value may achieve arbitrary command execution as the web server process user. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.67.

Uncontrolled Recursion vulnerability in Apache Thrift Node.js bindings This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.23.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.23.0, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-33524 2 Nds-association, Ndsev 2 Zserio, Zserio 2026-04-28 7.5 High
Zserio is a framework for serializing structured data with a compact and efficient way with low overhead. Prior to 2.18.1, a crafted payload as small as 4-5 bytes can force memory allocations of up to 16 GB, crashing any process with an OOM error (Denial of Service). This vulnerability is fixed in 2.18.1.
CVE-2026-40916 2 Gimp, Redhat 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-28 5 Medium
A flaw was found in GIMP. A stack buffer overflow vulnerability in the TIM image loader's 4BPP decoding path allows a local user to cause a Denial of Service (DoS). By opening a specially crafted TIM image file, the application crashes due to an unconditional overflow when writing to a variable-length array.
CVE-2026-31520 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: apple: avoid memory leak in apple_report_fixup() The apple_report_fixup() function was returning a newly kmemdup()-allocated buffer, but never freeing it. The caller of report_fixup() does not take ownership of the returned pointer, but it *is* permitted to return a sub-portion of the input rdesc, whose lifetime is managed by the caller.
CVE-2026-40919 2 Gimp, Redhat 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-28 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in GIMP. This vulnerability, a buffer overflow in the `file-seattle-filmworks` plugin, can be exploited when a user opens a specially crafted Seattle Filmworks file. A remote attacker could leverage this to cause a denial of service (DoS), leading to the plugin crashing and potentially impacting the stability of the GIMP application.
CVE-2026-41426 1 Pretalx 1 Pretalx 2026-04-28 6.1 Medium
pretalx is a conference planning tool. Prior to 2026.1.0, an unauthenticated attacker can send arbitrary HTML-rendered emails from a pretalx instance's configured sender address by embedding malformed HTML or markdown link syntax in a user-controlled template placeholder such as the account display name. The most direct vector is the password-reset flow: the attacker registers an account with a malicious name, enters the victim's email address, and triggers a password reset. The resulting email is delivered from the event's legitimate sender address and passes SPF/DKIM/DMARC validation, making it a ready-made phishing vector. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.1.0.
CVE-2026-42420 1 Openclaw 1 Openclaw 2026-04-28 4.3 Medium
OpenClaw before 2026.4.8 contains improper input validation in base64 decode paths that allocate memory before enforcing decoded-size limits. Attackers can exploit multiple code paths to cause memory exhaustion or denial of service through crafted base64-encoded input.
CVE-2026-41399 1 Openclaw 1 Openclaw 2026-04-28 7.5 High
OpenClaw before 2026.3.28 accepts unbounded concurrent unauthenticated WebSocket upgrades without pre-authentication budget allocation. Unauthenticated network attackers can exhaust socket and worker capacity to disrupt WebSocket availability for legitimate clients.
CVE-2026-31524 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: asus: avoid memory leak in asus_report_fixup() The asus_report_fixup() function was returning a newly allocated kmemdup()-allocated buffer, but never freeing it. Switch to devm_kzalloc() to ensure the memory is managed and freed automatically when the device is removed. The caller of report_fixup() does not take ownership of the returned pointer, but it is permitted to return a pointer whose lifetime is at least that of the input buffer. Also fix a harmless out-of-bounds read by copying only the original descriptor size.
CVE-2026-31526 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix exception exit lock checking for subprogs process_bpf_exit_full() passes check_lock = !curframe to check_resource_leak(), which is false in cases when bpf_throw() is called from a static subprog. This makes check_resource_leak() to skip validation of active_rcu_locks, active_preempt_locks, and active_irq_id on exception exits from subprogs. At runtime bpf_throw() unwinds the stack via ORC without releasing any user-acquired locks, which may cause various issues as the result. Fix by setting check_lock = true for exception exits regardless of curframe, since exceptions bypass all intermediate frame cleanup. Update the error message prefix to "bpf_throw" for exception exits to distinguish them from normal BPF_EXIT. Fix reject_subprog_with_rcu_read_lock test which was previously passing for the wrong reason. Test program returned directly from the subprog call without closing the RCU section, so the error was triggered by the unclosed RCU lock on normal exit, not by bpf_throw. Update __msg annotations for affected tests to match the new "bpf_throw" error prefix. The spin_lock case is not affected because they are already checked [1] at the call site in do_check_insn() before bpf_throw can run. CVE-2026-31528 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-28 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf: Make sure to use pmu_ctx->pmu for groups Oliver reported that x86_pmu_del() ended up doing an out-of-bound memory access when group_sched_in() fails and needs to roll back. This *should* be handled by the transaction callbacks, but he found that when the group leader is a software event, the transaction handlers of the wrong PMU are used. Despite the move_group case in perf_event_open() and group_sched_in() using pmu_ctx->pmu. Turns out, inherit uses event->pmu to clone the events, effectively undoing the move_group case for all inherited contexts. Fix this by also making inherit use pmu_ctx->pmu, ensuring all inherited counters end up in the same pmu context. Similarly, __perf_event_read() should use equally use pmu_ctx->pmu for the group case.
CVE-2026-31529 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cxl/region: Fix leakage in __construct_region() Failing the first sysfs_update_group() needs to explicitly kfree the resource as it is too early for cxl_region_iomem_release() to do so.
CVE-2026-41678 1 Rust-openssl Project 1 Rust-openssl 2026-04-28 8.1 High
rust-openssl provides OpenSSL bindings for the Rust programming language. From to before 0.10.78, aes::unwrap_key() contains an incorrect assertion: it checks that out.len() + 8 <= in_.len(), but this condition is reversed. The intended invariant is out.len() >= in_.len() - 8, ensuring the output buffer is large enough. Because of the inverted check, the function only accepts buffers at or below the minimum required size and rejects larger ones. If a smaller buffer is provided the function will write past the end of out by in_.len() - 8 - out.len() bytes, causing an out-of-bounds write from a safe public function. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.10.78.
