CVE-2017-3736 2 Openssl, Redhat 5 Openssl, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services and 2 more 2025-04-20 N/A
There is a carry propagating bug in the x86_64 Montgomery squaring procedure in OpenSSL before 1.0.2m and 1.1.0 before 1.1.0g. No EC algorithms are affected. Analysis suggests that attacks against RSA and DSA as a result of this defect would be very difficult to perform and are not believed likely. Attacks against DH are considered just feasible (although very difficult) because most of the work necessary to deduce information about a private key may be performed offline. The amount of resources required for such an attack would be very significant and likely only accessible to a limited number of attackers. An attacker would additionally need online access to an unpatched system using the target private key in a scenario with persistent DH parameters and a private key that is shared between multiple clients. This only affects processors that support the BMI1, BMI2 and ADX extensions like Intel Broadwell (5th generation) and later or AMD Ryzen.
CVE-2017-3737 3 Debian, Openssl, Redhat 4 Debian Linux, Openssl, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2025-04-20 N/A
OpenSSL 1.0.2 (starting from version 1.0.2b) introduced an "error state" mechanism. The intent was that if a fatal error occurred during a handshake then OpenSSL would move into the error state and would immediately fail if you attempted to continue the handshake. This works as designed for the explicit handshake functions (SSL_do_handshake(), SSL_accept() and SSL_connect()), however due to a bug it does not work correctly if SSL_read() or SSL_write() is called directly. In that scenario, if the handshake fails then a fatal error will be returned in the initial function call. If SSL_read()/SSL_write() is subsequently called by the application for the same SSL object then it will succeed and the data is passed without being decrypted/encrypted directly from the SSL/TLS record layer. In order to exploit this issue an application bug would have to be present that resulted in a call to SSL_read()/SSL_write() being issued after having already received a fatal error. OpenSSL version 1.0.2b-1.0.2m are affected. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2n. OpenSSL 1.1.0 is not affected.
CVE-2017-5011 2 Google, Redhat 2 Chrome, Rhel Extras 2025-04-20 N/A
Google Chrome prior to 56.0.2924.76 for Windows insufficiently sanitized DevTools URLs, which allowed a remote attacker who convinced a user to install a malicious extension to read filesystem contents via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2017-5015 2 Google, Redhat 2 Chrome, Rhel Extras 2025-04-20 N/A
Google Chrome prior to 56.0.2924.76 for Linux, Windows and Mac, and 56.0.2924.87 for Android, incorrectly handled Unicode glyphs, which allowed a remote attacker to perform domain spoofing via IDN homographs in a crafted domain name.
CVE-2017-5018 2 Google, Redhat 2 Chrome, Rhel Extras 2025-04-20 N/A
Google Chrome prior to 56.0.2924.76 for Linux, Windows and Mac, and 56.0.2924.87 for Android, had an insufficiently strict content security policy on the Chrome app launcher page, which allowed a remote attacker to inject scripts or HTML into a privileged page via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2017-5022 2 Google, Redhat 2 Chrome, Rhel Extras 2025-04-20 N/A
Blink in Google Chrome prior to 56.0.2924.76 for Linux, Windows and Mac, and 56.0.2924.87 for Android, failed to properly enforce unsafe-inline content security policy, which allowed a remote attacker to bypass content security policy via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2017-5074 3 Google, Microsoft, Redhat 3 Chrome, Windows, Rhel Extras 2025-04-20 N/A
A use after free in Chrome Apps in Google Chrome prior to 59.0.3071.86 for Windows allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory read via a crafted HTML page, related to Bluetooth.
CVE-2017-5096 2 Google, Redhat 3 Android, Chrome, Rhel Extras 2025-04-20 N/A

CVE-2017-5335 3 Gnu, Opensuse, Redhat 3 Gnutls, Leap, Enterprise Linux 2025-04-20 N/A
The stream reading functions in lib/opencdk/read-packet.c in GnuTLS before 3.3.26 and 3.5.x before 3.5.8 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-memory error and crash) via a crafted OpenPGP certificate.
CVE-2017-5483 2 Redhat, Tcpdump 2 Enterprise Linux, Tcpdump 2025-04-20 N/A
The SNMP parser in tcpdump before 4.9.0 has a buffer overflow in print-snmp.c:asn1_parse().
CVE-2017-5637 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat 5 Zookeeper, Debian Linux, Jboss Bpms and 2 more 2025-04-20 N/A
Two four letter word commands "wchp/wchc" are CPU intensive and could cause spike of CPU utilization on Apache ZooKeeper server if abused, which leads to the server unable to serve legitimate client requests. Apache ZooKeeper thru version 3.4.9 and 3.5.2 suffer from this issue, fixed in 3.4.10, 3.5.3, and later.
CVE-2017-5648 2 Apache, Redhat 3 Tomcat, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Web Server 2025-04-20 N/A
While investigating bug 60718, it was noticed that some calls to application listeners in Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.M17, 8.5.0 to 8.5.11, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.41, and 7.0.0 to 7.0.75 did not use the appropriate facade object. When running an untrusted application under a SecurityManager, it was therefore possible for that untrusted application to retain a reference to the request or response object and thereby access and/or modify information associated with another web application.
CVE-2017-5662 2 Apache, Redhat 5 Batik, Jboss Amq, Jboss Bpms and 2 more 2025-04-20 N/A
In Apache Batik before 1.9, files lying on the filesystem of the server which uses batik can be revealed to arbitrary users who send maliciously formed SVG files. The file types that can be shown depend on the user context in which the exploitable application is running. If the user is root a full compromise of the server - including confidential or sensitive files - would be possible. XXE can also be used to attack the availability of the server via denial of service as the references within a xml document can trivially trigger an amplification attack.
CVE-2017-12159 2 Keycloak, Redhat 5 Keycloak, Enterprise Linux Server, Jboss Single Sign On and 2 more 2025-04-20 N/A
It was found that the cookie used for CSRF prevention in Keycloak was not unique to each session. An attacker could use this flaw to gain access to an authenticated user session, leading to possible information disclosure or further attacks.
