| CVE-2026-46021 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-19 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: thermal: core: Fix thermal zone governor cleanup issues If thermal_zone_device_register_with_trips() fails after adding a thermal governor to the thermal zone being registered, the governor is not removed from it as appropriate which may lead to a memory leak. In turn, thermal_zone_device_unregister() calls thermal_set_governor() without acquiring the thermal zone lock beforehand which may race with a governor update via sysfs and may lead to a use-after-free in that case. Address these issues by adding two thermal_set_governor() calls, one to thermal_release() to remove the governor from the given thermal zone, and one to the thermal zone registration error path to cover failures preceding the thermal zone device registration. | ||||

Ensure we're initialising the netlink data to zero, in the link, addr and neigh response messages. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43421 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-19 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_ncm: Fix net_device lifecycle with device_move The network device outlived its parent gadget device during disconnection, resulting in dangling sysfs links and null pointer dereference problems. A prior attempt to solve this by removing SET_NETDEV_DEV entirely [1] was reverted due to power management ordering concerns and a NO-CARRIER regression. A subsequent attempt to defer net_device allocation to bind [2] broke 1:1 mapping between function instance and network device, making it impossible for configfs to report the resolved interface name. This results in a regression where the DHCP server fails on pmOS. Use device_move to reparent the net_device between the gadget device and /sys/devices/virtual/ across bind/unbind cycles. This preserves the network interface across USB reconnection, allowing the DHCP server to retain their binding. Introduce gether_attach_gadget()/gether_detach_gadget() helpers and use __free(detach_gadget) macro to undo attachment on bind failure. The bind_count ensures device_move executes only on the first bind. | CVE-2026-43311 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-19 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soc/tegra: pmc: Fix unsafe generic_handle_irq() call Currently, when resuming from system suspend on Tegra platforms, the following warning is observed: WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 14459 at kernel/irq/irqdesc.c:666 Call trace: handle_irq_desc+0x20/0x58 (P) tegra186_pmc_wake_syscore_resume+0xe4/0x15c syscore_resume+0x3c/0xb8 suspend_devices_and_enter+0x510/0x540 pm_suspend+0x16c/0x1d8 The warning occurs because generic_handle_irq() is being called from a non-interrupt context which is considered as unsafe. Fix this warning by deferring generic_handle_irq() call to an IRQ work which gets executed in hard IRQ context where generic_handle_irq() can be called safely. When PREEMPT_RT kernels are used, regular IRQ work (initialized with init_irq_work) is deferred to run in per-CPU kthreads in preemptible context rather than hard IRQ context. Hence, use the IRQ_WORK_INIT_HARD variant so that with PREEMPT_RT kernels, the IRQ work is processed in hardirq context instead of being deferred to a thread which is required for calling generic_handle_irq(). On non-PREEMPT_RT kernels, both init_irq_work() and IRQ_WORK_INIT_HARD() execute in IRQ context, so this change has no functional impact for standard kernel configurations. | CVE-2026-43129 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-19 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ima: verify the previous kernel's IMA buffer lies in addressable RAM Patch series "Address page fault in ima_restore_measurement_list()", v3. When the second-stage kernel is booted via kexec with a limiting command line such as "mem=<size>" we observe a pafe fault that happens. BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: ffff97793ff47000 RIP: ima_restore_measurement_list+0xdc/0x45a #PF: error_code(0x0000) not-present page This happens on x86_64 only, as this is already fixed in aarch64 in commit: cbf9c4b9617b ("of: check previous kernel's ima-kexec-buffer against memory bounds") This patch (of 3): When the second-stage kernel is booted with a limiting command line (e.g. "mem=<size>"), the IMA measurement buffer handed over from the previous kernel may fall outside the addressable RAM of the new kernel. Accessing such a buffer can fault during early restore. Introduce a small generic helper, ima_validate_range(), which verifies that a physical [start, end] range for the previous-kernel IMA buffer lies within addressable memory: - On x86, use pfn_range_is_mapped(). - On OF based architectures, use page_is_ram(). | ||||
| CVE-2026-43019 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-19 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_conn: fix potential UAF in set_cig_params_sync hci_conn lookup and field access must be covered by hdev lock in set_cig_params_sync, otherwise it's possible it is freed concurrently. Take hdev lock to prevent hci_conn from being deleted or modified concurrently. Just RCU lock is not suitable here, as we also want to avoid "tearing" in the configuration. | ||||
| CVE-2026-31715 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-19 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: fix UAF caused by decrementing sbi->nr_pages[] in f2fs_write_end_io() The xfstests case "generic/107" and syzbot have both reported a NULL pointer dereference. The concurrent scenario that triggers the panic is as follows: F2FS_WB_CP_DATA write callback umount - f2fs_write_checkpoint - f2fs_wait_on_all_pages(sbi, F2FS_WB_CP_DATA) - blk_mq_end_request - bio_endio - f2fs_write_end_io : dec_page_count(sbi, F2FS_WB_CP_DATA) : wake_up(&sbi->cp_wait) - kill_f2fs_super - kill_block_super - f2fs_put_super : iput(sbi->node_inode) : sbi->node_inode = NULL : f2fs_in_warm_node_list - is_node_folio // sbi->node_inode is NULL and panic The root cause is that f2fs_put_super() calls iput(sbi->node_inode) and sets sbi->node_inode to NULL after sbi->nr_pages[F2FS_WB_CP_DATA] is decremented to zero. As a result, f2fs_in_warm_node_list() may dereference a NULL node_inode when checking whether a folio belongs to the node inode, leading to a panic. This patch fixes the issue by calling f2fs_in_warm_node_list() before decrementing sbi->nr_pages[F2FS_WB_CP_DATA], thus preventing the use-after-free condition. | ||||
| CVE-2026-31708 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-19 | 8.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix OOB read in smb2_ioctl_query_info QUERY_INFO path smb2_ioctl_query_info() has two response-copy branches: PASSTHRU_FSCTL and the default QUERY_INFO path. The QUERY_INFO branch clamps qi.input_buffer_length to the server-reported OutputBufferLength and then copies qi.input_buffer_length bytes from qi_rsp->Buffer to userspace, but it never verifies that the flexible-array payload actually fits within rsp_iov[1].iov_len. A malicious server can return OutputBufferLength larger than the actual QUERY_INFO response, causing copy_to_user() to walk past the response buffer and expose adjacent kernel heap to userspace. Guard the QUERY_INFO copy with a bounds check on the actual Buffer payload. Use struct_size(qi_rsp, Buffer, qi.input_buffer_length) rather than an open-coded addition so the guard cannot overflow on 32-bit builds. | ||||
| CVE-2026-31663 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-19 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: hold dev ref until after transport_finish NF_HOOK After async crypto completes, xfrm_input_resume() calls dev_put() immediately on re-entry before the skb reaches transport_finish. The skb->dev pointer is then used inside NF_HOOK and its okfn, which can race with device teardown. Remove the dev_put from the async resumption entry and instead drop the reference after the NF_HOOK call in transport_finish, using a saved device pointer since NF_HOOK may consume the skb. This covers NF_DROP, NF_QUEUE and NF_STOLEN paths that skip the okfn. For non-transport exits (decaps, gro, drop) and secondary async return points, release the reference inline when async is set. | ||||
| CVE-2026-31486 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-19 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (pmbus/core) Protect regulator operations with mutex The regulator operations pmbus_regulator_get_voltage(), pmbus_regulator_set_voltage(), and pmbus_regulator_list_voltage() access PMBus registers and shared data but were not protected by the update_lock mutex. This could lead to race conditions. However, adding mutex protection directly to these functions causes a deadlock because pmbus_regulator_notify() (which calls regulator_notifier_call_chain()) is often called with the mutex already held (e.g., from pmbus_fault_handler()). If a regulator callback then calls one of the now-protected voltage functions, it will attempt to acquire the same mutex. Rework pmbus_regulator_notify() to utilize a worker function to send notifications outside of the mutex protection. Events are stored as atomics in a per-page bitmask and processed by the worker. Initialize the worker and its associated data during regulator registration, and ensure it is cancelled on device removal using devm_add_action_or_reset(). While at it, remove the unnecessary include of linux/of.h. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: io: Extract user memory type in ioremap_prot() The only caller of ioremap_prot() outside of the generic ioremap() implementation is generic_access_phys(), which passes a 'pgprot_t' value determined from the user mapping of the target 'pfn' being accessed by the kernel. On arm64, the 'pgprot_t' contains all of the non-address bits from the pte, including the permission controls, and so we end up returning a new user mapping from ioremap_prot() which faults when accessed from the kernel on systems with PAN: | Unable to handle kernel read from unreadable memory at virtual address ffff80008ea89000 | ... | Call trace: | __memcpy_fromio+0x80/0xf8 | generic_access_phys+0x20c/0x2b8 | __access_remote_vm+0x46c/0x5b8 | access_remote_vm+0x18/0x30 | environ_read+0x238/0x3e8 | vfs_read+0xe4/0x2b0 | ksys_read+0xcc/0x178 | __arm64_sys_read+0x4c/0x68 Extract only the memory type from the user 'pgprot_t' in ioremap_prot() and assert that we're being passed a user mapping, to protect us against any changes in future that may require additional handling. To avoid falsely flagging users of ioremap(), provide our own ioremap() macro which simply wraps __ioremap_prot(). | ||||
