CVE Vendors Products Updated CVSS v3.1
CVE-2026-79777 1 Rclone 1 Rclone 2026-08-25 2.7 Low
rclone before v1.75.0 includes full Go stack traces in RC API error responses when panics occur. Attackers can trigger panics to leak internal file paths, module versions, goroutine states, and memory addresses.
CVE-2026-79776 1 Rclone 1 Rclone 2026-08-25 5.3 Medium
rclone before 1.75.0 mounts the pprof debug handler as its own router route, bypassing the fail-closed authentication rule in the main handler. Attackers can access the /debug/pprof/cmdline endpoint unauthenticated to retrieve the full process argv including backend credentials.
CVE-2026-79774 1 Wintercms 1 Winter 2026-08-25 8.4 High
Winter CMS versions before 1.2.13 contain an incomplete fix for a Twig sandbox escape vulnerability in System\\Twig\\SecurityPolicy that allows authenticated backend users with template-editing permissions to bypass sandbox restrictions. Attackers can exploit method forwarding through Eloquent models and query builders using methods like saveQuietly(), deleteQuietly(), increment(), decrement(), and newQuery() to read and modify arbitrary database records, execute arbitrary SQL, and achieve remote code execution by injecting PHP into template code sections.
CVE-2026-79769 1 Nokogiri 1 Nokogiri 2026-08-25 5.5 Medium
Nokogiri versions before 1.19.4 contain a possible invalid (out-of-bounds) memory read in the protected internal Node#initialize_copy_with_args helper behind Node#dup and #clone, which unwrapped its source argument as an xmlNode without a type check. If application code calls this protected method with a non-Node argument (e.g., a Namespace), it reads an xmlNs out of bounds, crashing the process. This is only triggerable by a programming error and cannot be triggered by untrusted input or normal use of the public API. Only CRuby is affected. Version 1.19.4 adds a type check and raises TypeError.
CVE-2026-79675 1 Nltk 1 Nltk 2026-08-25 9.8 Critical
NLTK before 3.10.3 fails to validate JVM options passed through the per-call options parameter in the java() function, allowing attackers to inject dangerous JVM flags. Attackers can supply malicious options like -agentpath, -javaagent, or @argfile to Stanford wrapper classes to achieve arbitrary code execution.
CVE-2026-79674 1 Nltk 1 Nltk 2026-08-25 8.2 High
NLTK versions before 3.10.3 contain a path sandbox bypass vulnerability in corpus-reader constructors that allows attackers to read files outside the intended data root. Attackers can supply arbitrary corpus root paths to LinThesaurusCorpusReader and PanLexLiteCorpusReader constructors to access filesystem content and SQLite databases outside the pathsec sandbox boundary.
CVE-2025-71406 1 Nokogiri 1 Nokogiri 2026-08-25 7.8 High
Nokogiri before 1.18.4 bundles a vulnerable version of libxslt (prior to 1.1.43) that contains two use-after-free vulnerabilities: CVE-2025-24855 (use-after-free of the XPath context node due to xsltEvalXPathStringNs leaking xpathCtxt->node) and CVE-2024-55549 (use-after-free related to excluded result prefixes/namespaces). Processing crafted XSLT can trigger memory corruption. Nokogiri 1.18.4 upgrades the bundled libxslt to 1.1.43 to resolve these issues.
CVE-2024-58378 1 Nokogiri 1 Nokogiri 2026-08-25 9.8 Critical
Nokogiri before 1.15.6 and 1.16.x before 1.16.2 (CRuby, when using the packaged libxml2) is affected by a use-after-free vulnerability in libxml2 (CVE-2024-25062) in the xmlTextReader module, which underlies Nokogiri::XML::Reader. When using the XML Reader interface with DTD validation and XInclude expansion enabled, processing a crafted XML document can lead to an xmlValidatePopElement use-after-free. Nokogiri 1.15.6 and 1.16.2 resolve this by upgrading the packaged libxml2 to 2.11.7 and 2.12.5 respectively. JRuby and installations using system libxml2 are not affected.
CVE-2024-58377 1 Nokogiri 1 Nokogiri 2026-08-25 0 Low
Nokogiri versions before 1.16.5 bundle libxml2 2.12.6, which is affected by CVE-2024-34459 in libxml2's xmllint tool. Nokogiri 1.16.5 upgrades the bundled libxml2 to 2.12.7 to address this. Per the maintainers, there is no impact to Nokogiri users because Nokogiri does not provide or expose the xmllint tool where the issue occurs.
CVE-2022-50998 1 Nokogiri 1 Nokogiri 2026-08-25 7.5 High
Nokogiri before 1.13.9 (CRuby implementation using packaged libraries) bundles libxml2 v2.9.14, which is affected by CVE-2022-40304 (data corruption / double-free from an entity reference cycle when entity content is allocated from a dict) and CVE-2022-40303 (integer overflows when parsing with XML_PARSE_HUGE). Nokogiri 1.13.9 upgrades the packaged libxml2 to v2.10.3 to address these issues. Processing crafted XML input may lead to denial of service or memory corruption. (The advisory also references CVE-2022-2309, a NULL pointer dereference via iterwalk/canonicalize, which maintainers determined does not affect Nokogiri users.)
CVE-2026-74590 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-25 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fsverity: Fix bpf_get_fsverity_digest() dynptr assumptions The BPF verifier and the dynptr abstraction ensure that the memory space referenced by a dynptr remains valid. They do not, however, provide any guarantee that the contents of the memory are stable. kfuncs are expected to remain memory-safe even if concurrent modifications occur. bpf_get_fsverity_digest() didn't follow that: it could crash if arg->digest_size was concurrently modified. Fix that by using the known-good value hash_alg->digest_size instead. Also widen 'dynptr_sz' and 'out_digest_sz' to u64 to match the return type of __bpf_dynptr_size(). It doesn't appear that it can actually be more than INT_MAX currently (since __bpf_dynptr_data_rw() excludes file-based pointers), but the correct type might as well be used.
CVE-2026-74592 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-25 8.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ima: Instantiate file_truncate and path_truncate hooks Instantiate the file_truncate and path_truncate LSM hooks to reset the action cache flags (IMA_DONE_MASK) as soon as truncation is requested, so the file, based on policy, is re-collected, re-measured, re-audited, and re-appraised on next access.
CVE-2026-74594 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-25 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/psi: Shut down rtpoll_timer in psi_cgroup_free() psi_schedule_rtpoll_work() is called locklessly from the scheduler hotpath and can race psi_trigger_destroy() taking down the last rtpoll trigger under rtpoll_trigger_lock: psi_schedule_rtpoll_work() psi_trigger_destroy() rcu_read_lock(); task = rcu_dereference(rtpoll_task); rcu_assign_pointer(rtpoll_task, NULL); timer_delete(&rtpoll_timer); mod_timer(&rtpoll_timer, ...); rcu_read_unlock(); synchronize_rcu(); kthread_stop(task_to_destroy); The group can then be freed with the re-armed timer still pending, and poll_timer_fn() runs on freed memory. 461daba06bdc ("psi: eliminate kthread_worker from psi trigger scheduling mechanism") deleted the timer synchronously after the synchronize_rcu(), which prevented this but raced trigger creation instead: the deletion could cancel the timer that a new trigger set armed during the grace period and, as creation also reinitialized the timer at the time, corrupt it. 8f91efd870ea ("psi: Fix race between psi_trigger_create/destroy") moved the initialization into group_init() and the deletion into the locked section, trading the creation races for the window above. Neither placement in the destruction path works. A pending timer firing while the group is alive is harmless though. poll_timer_fn() just wakes the rtpoll waitqueue and doesn't re-arm itself. Bind the timer to the group's lifetime instead and shut it down in psi_cgroup_free(). Nothing can arm it by then. timer_shutdown_sync() because the timer is never armed again.
CVE-2026-74605 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-25 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: eventfs: Use children field for rcu head and add memory barriers When an eventfs inode is freed, it sets ei->is_freed and then uses its ei->list to add it to the srcu link list as the list field is a union with the rcu list head. As the ei->list is used to iterate over an SRCU protected list without taking the eventfs_mutex, there's nothing stopping the iteration over that list to see the ei->rcu instead of the ei->list and it will read a corrupt target. To fix this, change the union of the rcu list head with the children list. On freeing the eventfs inode, set the is_free and execute a smp_wmb() before adding the eventfs inode to the SRCU list. On iteration of the ei->children list, at the start, execute a smp_rmb() and then read the is_freed of the ei to see if the children list is still valid. If is_freed is set, then the ei_child read is not valid and the loop should exit immediately.
CVE-2026-74608 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-25 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: Fix use-after-free in cifs_try_adding_channels() cifs_try_adding_channels() takes a temporary reference to an interface before dropping iface_lock. If cifs_ses_add_channel() fails, it drops that reference and then increments iface->weight_fulfilled. A concurrent interface list refresh can remove the list reference while channel creation is in progress. In that case, the failure-path kref_put() releases the last reference and frees iface. Updating weight_fulfilled afterward then accesses freed memory. Increment weight_fulfilled before dropping the temporary reference, keeping iface alive for the final access.
CVE-2026-74628 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-25 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/x25: fix use-after-free of the socket by its timers The x25 timers are armed with mod_timer() and cancelled with timer_delete(), so a pending timer holds no reference on the socket and a cancel does not wait for a callback already running on another CPU. x25_heartbeat_expiry() also rearms unconditionally, so it can reinstall sk->sk_timer after __x25_destroy_socket() has passed its cancel point. The following __sock_put() frees the socket while the timer is still queued, and the next expiry uses freed memory. KASAN reports a slab-use-after-free on the kmalloc-2k object freed by close(). timer_delete_sync() cannot be used here: x25_heartbeat_expiry() and x25_timer_expiry() both reach the cancels from inside the timer they would wait on, through __x25_destroy_socket() and x25_disconnect(). Arm the timers with sk_reset_timer() and cancel them with sk_stop_timer() so that an armed timer owns a reference, and release it in both expiry handlers. Rearm the heartbeat only while sk_hashed(sk) is still true, since __x25_destroy_socket() unlinks the socket before dropping it. Arm the deferred destroy timer the same way and drop its reference in x25_destroy_timer(). Reproduced on net with KASAN, with the heartbeat period shortened so the window recurs. With this patch the reproducer no longer triggers a report and /proc/net/x25 drains. Discovered by XBOW, triaged by Baul Lee <baul.lee@xbow.com>
CVE-2026-74630 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-25 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: prevent in6_dev_get() from resurrecting inet6_dev in6_dev_get() reads dev->ip6_ptr under RCU and then unconditionally increments its refcount. Device teardown can clear the pointer and drop the last reference between these operations. The increment then resurrects an object whose RCU free has already been queued, so callers can use it after it is freed. Use refcount_inc_not_zero() and return NULL when the object has already reached zero. RCU keeps the memory accessible through the attempted reference acquisition, and a successful increment pins the object for the caller. An independent run on the exact unpatched 6f5156d7a31a (v7.2-rc3) kernel reproduced the invalid reference acquisition as UID 1000: refcount_t: addition on 0; use-after-free. ip6_mc_source+0xef4/0x17e0 It was followed by the corresponding reference underflow in ip6_mc_source(). The supplied trace from the same unpatched revision additionally shows the access after the RCU read-side section ends: BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in mutex_lock+0x76/0xe0 Write of size 8 at addr ffff888015b50240 by task poc/1219 Bug found and triaged by OpenAI Security Research and validated by Trail of Bits.
CVE-2026-74696 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-25 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: fix TFO max_qlen accounting across reuseport migration A listener's TCP_FASTOPEN max_qlen stops being accurate and lets through far more pending Fast Open requests than it was configured for. This only shows up with SO_REUSEPORT listener migration, where closing a listener hands its still-pending TFO children over to a surviving one. fastopenq.qlen is charged in tcp_fastopen_create_child() when the child is created and uncharged in reqsk_fastopen_remove() when the handshake completes. The uncharge follows rsk_listener of the request the child points at, and inet_reqsk_clone() has repointed the child at a new request owned by the new listener, so the ++ and the -- land on two different sockets. The new listener's qlen drifts negative and its limit no longer binds. Charge the new listener during migration, like reqsk_queue_migrated() already does for queue->young and queue->qlen.
CVE-2026-74720 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-25 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Preserve pointer state for commuted arithmetic When scalar += pointer is handled in adjust_ptr_min_max_vals(), the destination register inherits the pointer state from the source pointer. Copying only selected fields is fragile because pointer provenance is tracked by several bpf_reg_state fields. Use the caller's temporary offset register to preserve the scalar operand while replacing the destination with the full pointer state. This preserves the frame number for PTR_TO_STACK registers and keeps parent identity fields consistent.
CVE-2026-18728 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Open Iscsi 2026-08-25 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in open-iscsi. An integer underflow vulnerability in the `iscsiuio` component, specifically during IPv4 Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) parsing, allows a remote attacker on the same local network segment to cause a denial of service. By sending a specially crafted IPv4/UDP DHCP reply, the attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds read, leading to the `iscsiuio` process crashing. This issue affects systems where `iscsiuio` is actively handling IPv4 DHCP traffic.
