| Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to unauthorized access. |
| A flaw was found in hawtio-operator. The operator reads the OpenShift Service CA private signing key from the openshift-service-ca namespace and uses it to mint client certificates with a Subject Common Name (CN) supplied by the author of a namespaced Hawtio custom resource. Because the operator ships a ClusterRole that aggregates Hawtio CR permissions into the edit and admin roles, any user with edit access in any namespace can obtain a Service-CA-signed certificate with an arbitrary subject. This certificate can be used to impersonate any in-cluster service identity to peers that trust the Service CA for client authentication, including Jolokia agents and other Service-CA-trusting components. |
| Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to protection mechanism bypass. |

An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to protection mechanism bypass. |

| Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to server-side request forgery. |
| SAP Approuter does not correctly validate client certificates in certain callback flows. An attacker with low privileges, holding a certificate from the same trusted authority with matching subject values, could bypass the identity check. This complexity makes the attack difficult to execute. Successful exploitation could allow impersonation of a trusted internal component, resulting in a high impact on integrity and a low impact on confidentiality and availability. |
| In Eclipse Ditto's Node.js JavaScript client, all released versions of @eclipse-ditto/ditto-javascript-client-node from 2.0.0 to 3.9.0 and of its predecessor package @eclipse-ditto/ditto-javascript-client-node_1.0 from 1.0.0 to 2.1.0, the WebSocket transport hard-codes rejectUnauthorized: false when creating the underlying ws WebSocket. Certificate chain and hostname validation are therefore disabled for every wss:// connection, and no builder option, constructor argument or environment variable lets an application turn validation back on. An attacker in a position to intercept the connection can present an arbitrary certificate, complete the TLS handshake, read the credentials that the configured authentication provider sends in the Authorization header of the WebSocket upgrade request, and read, alter or inject Ditto Protocol messages for the lifetime of the connection. The Java client, the browser/DOM JavaScript client and the HTTP transport of the Node.js client are not affected. |
| Bilibili Desktop through 1.18.0 disables TLS certificate verification process-wide and executes unsigned remote JavaScript configuration without integrity checks. An attacker in an on-path network position can intercept configuration fetches, inject arbitrary JavaScript executed in the renderer with access to the privileged IPC bridge, and execute system commands or steal login credentials. |
| With the wolfSSL backend, when CA caching is enabled and an
`CURLOPT_SSL_CTX_FUNCTION` callback replaces the trust store, libcurl can
silently reinstall the cached store after the callback returns. A certificate
trusted by the cached store but rejected by the callback-selected store is
then incorrectly accepted. |
| A flaw in libcurl makes it wrongly reuse an existing HTTPS connection setup
for a given hostname even when using a different Native CA Store setting
(`CURLSSLOPT_NATIVE_CA`) than when the connection was created. |
| When `CURLOPT_PINNEDPUBLICKEY` is configured alongside options that disable
standard peer verification (`CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER = 0` and
`CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST = 0`), libcurl fails to enforce public key pinning on
connections established without a presented server certificate. Bypassing the
pinning check under these disabled-verification conditions allows
unauthenticated connections to succeed when they should be rejected. |
| In Modem, there is a possible system crash due to improper input validation. This could lead to local denial of service with User execution privileges needed. User interaction is needed for exploitation. Patch ID: MOLY01810811; Issue ID: MSV-9232. |
| undici's BalancedPool constructor passes its entire options object through an internal deep-clone that serializes and reparses the value as JSON. Because JSON cannot represent functions, any function-valued TLS option, such as a caller-supplied checkServerIdentity callback or a custom connector inside the connect option, is silently discarded before it reaches the TLS layer. As a result a peer whose certificate the application's custom checkServerIdentity was written to reject, but which still passes Node's default hostname and chain checks, is accepted when reached through BalancedPool. The Client, Pool, and Agent dispatchers are not affected because they extract the connect and tls options before cloning. This affects undici versions from 7.24.1 up to 7.29.1 and from 8.0.0 up to 8.10.2, and only when the application supplies a function-valued connect or tls option to BalancedPool. Users should upgrade to undici 7.29.1 or 8.10.2. |
