| Out-of-bounds read for some Intel(R) Graphics Drivers may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable information disclosure or denial of service via local access. |
| A vulnerability in the health monitoring diagnostics of Cisco Nexus 3000 Series Switches and Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches in standalone NX-OS mode could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause the device to reload unexpectedly, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition.
This vulnerability is due to the incorrect handling of specific Ethernet frames. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a sustained rate of crafted Ethernet frames to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload. |
| Himmelblau is an interoperability suite for Microsoft Azure Entra ID and Intune. Himmelblau 0.9.x derives numeric GIDs for Entra ID groups from the group display name when himmelblau.conf `id_attr_map = name` (the default configuration). Because Microsoft Entra ID allows multiple groups with the same `displayName` (including end-user–created personal/O365 groups, depending on tenant policy), distinct directory groups can collapse to the same numeric GID on Linux. This issue only applies to Himmelblau versions 0.9.0 through 0.9.22. Any resource or service on a Himmelblau-joined host that enforces authorization by numeric GID (files/dirs, etc.) can be unintentionally accessible to a user who creates or joins a different Entra/O365 group that happens to share the same `displayName` as a privileged security group. Users should upgrade to 0.9.23, or 1.0.0 or later, to receive a patch. Group to GID mapping now uses Entra ID object IDs (GUIDs) and does not collide on same-name groups. As a workaround, use tenant policy hardening to restrict arbitrary group creation until all hosts are patched. |
| tracing is a framework for instrumenting Rust programs to collect structured, event-based diagnostic information. Prior to version 0.3.20, tracing-subscriber was vulnerable to ANSI escape sequence injection attacks. Untrusted user input containing ANSI escape sequences could be injected into terminal output when logged, potentially allowing attackers to manipulate terminal title bars, clear screens or modify terminal display, and potentially mislead users through terminal manipulation. tracing-subscriber version 0.3.20 fixes this vulnerability by escaping ANSI control characters when writing events to destinations that may be printed to the terminal. A workaround involves avoiding printing logs to terminal emulators without escaping ANSI control sequences. |
| Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 HTTP Decoder that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the disclosure of possible sensitive data or cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to crash.
This vulnerability is due to an error in the logic of buffer handling when the MIME fields of the HTTP header are parsed. This can result in a buffer under-read. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP packets through an established connection that is parsed by Snort 3. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to induce one of two possible outcomes: the unexpected restarting of the Snort 3 Detection Engine, which could cause a denial of service (DoS) condition, or information disclosure of sensitive information in the Snort 3 data stream. Due to the under-read condition, it is possible that sensitive information that is not valid connection data could be returned. |
| Kaspersky has fixed a security issue in Kaspersky Anti-Virus SDK for Windows, Kaspersky Security for Virtualization Light Agent, Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows, Kaspersky Small Office Security, Kaspersky for Windows (Standard, Plus, Premium), Kaspersky Free, Kaspersky Anti-Virus, Kaspersky Internet Security, Kaspersky Security Cloud, Kaspersky Safe Kids, Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool that could allow an authenticated attacker to write data to a limited area outside the allocated kernel memory buffer. The fix was installed automatically for all Kaspersky Endpoint products. |
| Improper Input Validation vulnerability in OpenText Self Service Password Reset allows Authentication Bypass. This issue affects Self Service Password Reset from before 4.8 patch 3. |
| The vulnerability potentially allowed an attacker to misuse ESET’s file operations during the removal of a detected file on the Windows operating system to delete files without having proper permissions to do so. |
| Firepad through 1.5.11 allows remote attackers, who have knowledge of a pad ID, to retrieve both the current text of a document and all content that has previously been pasted into the document. NOTE: in several similar products, this is the intentional behavior for anyone who knows the full document ID and corresponding URL. NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| TrustedFirmware-M (aka Trusted Firmware for M profile Arm CPUs) before 2.1.3 and 2.2.x before 2.2.1 lacks length validation during a firmware upgrade. While processing a new image, the Firmware Upgrade (FWU) module does not validate the length field of the Type-Length-Value (TLV) structure for dependent components against the maximum allowed size. If the length specified in the TLV exceeds the size of the buffer allocated on the stack, the FWU module will overwrite the buffer (and potentially other stack data) with the TLV's value content. An attacker could exploit this by crafting a malicious TLV entry in the unprotected section of the MCUBoot upgrade image. By setting the length field to exceed the expected structure size, the attacker can manipulate the stack memory of the system during the upgrade process. |
| jackson-core contains core low-level incremental ("streaming") parser and generator abstractions used by Jackson Data Processor. In versions prior to 2.15.0, if a user parses an input file and it has deeply nested data, Jackson could end up throwing a StackoverflowError if the depth is particularly large. jackson-core 2.15.0 contains a configurable limit for how deep Jackson will traverse in an input document, defaulting to an allowable depth of 1000. jackson-core will throw a StreamConstraintsException if the limit is reached. jackson-databind also benefits from this change because it uses jackson-core to parse JSON inputs. As a workaround, users should avoid parsing input files from untrusted sources. |
| An unauthenticated attacker can trigger a stack based buffer overflow in the DP Service (TCP port 3500). This vulnerability has been resolved in firmware version 2.800.0000000.8.R.20241111. |
| An unauthenticated attacker can perform an out of bounds heap read in the IQ Service (TCP port 9876). This vulnerability has been resolved in firmware version 2.800.0000000.8.R.20241111. |
| An authenticated attacker can trigger a stack based buffer overflow in the DHIP Service (TCP port 80). This vulnerability has been resolved in firmware version 2.800.0000000.8.R.20241111. |
| The affected product is vulnerable to an integer underflow. An unauthenticated attacker could send a malformed HTTP request, which could allow the attacker to crash the program. |
| Inclusion of undocumented features or chicken bits issue exists in UD-LT1 firmware Ver.2.1.8 and earlier and UD-LT1/EX firmware Ver.2.1.8 and earlier. A remote attacker may disable the firewall function of the affected products. As a result, an arbitrary OS command may be executed and/or configuration settings of the device may be altered. |
| Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input vulnerability in Mitsubishi Electric CNC Series allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause Denial of Service (DoS) condition on the product by sending specially crafted packets to TCP port 683, causing an emergency stop. |
| Out-of-bounds Read vulnerability in dail8859 NotepadNext (src/lua/src modules). This vulnerability is associated with program files lparser.C.
This issue affects NotepadNext: through v0.11.
The singlevar() in lparser.c lacks a certain luaK_exp2anyregup call, leading to a heap-based buffer over-read that might affect a system that compiles untrusted Lua code. |
| Integer Overflow or Wraparound vulnerability in dragonflydb dragonfly (src/redis/lua/struct modules). This vulnerability is associated with program files lua_struct.C.
This issue affects dragonfly: 1.30.1, 1.30.0, 1.28.18. |
| Meshtastic-Android is an Android application for the mesh radio software Meshtastic. Prior to version 2.5.21, an attacker is able to send an unencrypted direct message to a victim impersonating any other node of the mesh. This message will be displayed in the same chat that the victim normally communicates with the other node and it will appear as using PKC, while it is not. This means that the victim will be provided with a false sense of security due to the green padlock displayed when using PKC and they'll read the attacker's message as legitimate. Version 2.5.21 contains a patch for the issue. It is suggested to implement a stricter control on whether a message has been received using PKC or using the shared Meshtastic channel key. Moreover, instead of showing no green padlock icon in the chat with no PKC, consider using an explicit indicator like, for example, the yellow half-open padlock displayed when in HAM mode. This remediation, however, applies to the client applications rather than the Meshtastic firmware. |
