CVSS v3.1 |
In Poppler 0.59.0, a floating point exception occurs in Splash::scaleImageYuXd() in Splash.cc, which may lead to a potential attack when handling malicious PDF files.
In Poppler 0.59.0, a floating point exception occurs in the ImageStream class in Stream.cc, which may lead to a potential attack when handling malicious PDF files.
libimageworsener.a in ImageWorsener before 1.3.1 has "left shift cannot be represented in type int" undefined behavior issues, which might allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted image, related to imagew-bmp.c and imagew-util.c.
Xen through 4.6.x on 64-bit platforms mishandles a failsafe callback, which might allow PV guest OS users to execute arbitrary code on the host OS, aka XSA-215.
Xen 4.5.x through 4.7.x on AMD systems without the NRip feature, when emulating instructions that generate software interrupts, allows local HVM guest OS users to cause a denial of service (guest crash) by leveraging IDT entry miscalculation.
In all Qualcomm products with Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, during DMA allocation, due to wrong data type of size, allocation size gets truncated which makes allocation succeed when it should fail.
A elevation of privilege vulnerability in the Android framework. Product: Android. Versions: 4.4.4, 5.0.2, 5.1.1, 6.0, 6.0.1, 7.0, 7.1.1, 7.1.2. Android ID: A-37285689.
All versions of the NVIDIA Windows GPU Display Driver contain a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer (nvlddmkm.sys) handler where incorrect calculation may cause an invalid address access leading to denial of service or potential escalation of privileges.
A bug in the standard library ScalarMult implementation of curve P-256 for amd64 architectures in Go before 1.7.6 and 1.8.x before 1.8.2 causes incorrect results to be generated for specific input points. An adaptive attack can be mounted to progressively extract the scalar input to ScalarMult by submitting crafted points and observing failures to the derive correct output. This leads to a full key recovery attack against static ECDH, as used in popular JWT libraries.
The futex_wait function in kernel/futex.c in the Linux kernel before 2.6.37 does not properly maintain a certain reference count during requeue operations, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (use-after-free and system crash) or possibly gain privileges via a crafted application that triggers a zero count.
The nss_parse_ciphers function in libraries/libldap/tls_m.c in OpenLDAP does not properly parse OpenSSL-style multi-keyword mode cipher strings, which might cause a weaker than intended cipher to be used and allow remote attackers to have unspecified impact via unknown vectors.
The s_mp_div function in lib/freebl/mpi/mpi.c in Mozilla Network Security Services (NSS) before 3.21, as used in Mozilla Firefox before 44.0, improperly divides numbers, which might make it easier for remote attackers to defeat cryptographic protection mechanisms by leveraging use of the (1) mp_div or (2) mp_exptmod function.
The compress_bidder_init function in archive_read_support_filter_compress.c in libarchive before 3.2.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a crafted tar file, which triggers an invalid left shift.
A floating-point exception was discovered in PackLinuxElf::elf_hash in p_lx_elf.cpp in UPX 3.95. The vulnerability causes an application crash, which leads to denial of service.
Off-by-one error in the OpenType Sanitizer in Google Chrome before 18.0.1025.142 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted OpenType file.
The gfs2_dirent_find_space function in fs/gfs2/dir.c in the Linux kernel before 2.6.35 uses an incorrect size value in calculations associated with sentinel directory entries, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and panic) and possibly have unspecified other impact by renaming a file in a GFS2 filesystem, related to the gfs2_rename function in fs/gfs2/ops_inode.c.
The fbComposite function in fbpict.c in the Render extension in the X server in X.Org X11R7.1 allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service (memory corruption and daemon crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted request, related to an incorrect macro definition.
net/sctp/sm_make_chunk.c in the Linux kernel before 2.6.34, when addip_enable and auth_enable are used, does not consider the amount of zero padding during calculation of chunk lengths for (1) INIT and (2) INIT ACK chunks, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (OOPS) via crafted packet data.
vyper is a Pythonic Smart Contract Language for the EVM. Vyper `sqrt()` builtin uses the babylonian method to calculate square roots of decimals. Unfortunately, improper handling of the oscillating final states may lead to sqrt incorrectly returning rounded up results. This issue is being addressed and a fix is expected in version 0.4.1. Users are advised to upgrade as soon as the patched release is available. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
sprintf in the GNU C Library (glibc) 2.37 has a buffer overflow (out-of-bounds write) in some situations with a correct buffer size. This is unrelated to CWE-676. It may write beyond the bounds of the destination buffer when attempting to write a padded, thousands-separated string representation of a number, if the buffer is allocated the exact size required to represent that number as a string. For example, 1,234,567 (with padding to 13) overflows by two bytes.
