CVSS v3.1 |
| NanaZip is the 7-Zip derivative intended for the modern Windows experience. Prior to 6.5.1749.0, NanaZip's .NET single-file bundle handler in NanaZip.Codecs.Archive.DotNetSingleFile.cpp sizes its extraction buffer from the bundle entry Size field, which is only checked for sign and is not validated against the real file size. A crafted bundle can cause an attacker-chosen allocation inside Extract, where std::bad_alloc or std::length_error can escape across the COM STDMETHODCALLTYPE boundary and crash the process. This issue is fixed in version 6.5.1749.0. |
| Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. Prior to 2.11.0, Excelize parses shared-string cell values with strconv.Atoi and checks only the upper bound before indexing the shared string slice, allowing an XLSX file containing a shared-string cell with -1 to trigger sharedStrings[-1] and panic when read through GetCellValue or GetRows. This issue is fixed in version 2.11.0. |
| NATS Server is a high-performance server for NATS.io, the cloud and edge native messaging system. Prior to 2.14.3 and 2.12.12, a WebSocket listener could route requests for the MQTT-over-WebSocket path into MQTT handling even when MQTT was not configured, allowing an unauthenticated client with access to the WebSocket listener to reach uninitialized MQTT state and crash the server process. This issue is fixed in versions 2.14.3 and 2.12.12. |
| Apache Log4j's JsonTemplateLayout https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/json-template-layout.html , in versions up to and including 2.25.3, produces invalid JSON output when log events contain non-finite floating-point values (NaN, Infinity, or -Infinity), which are prohibited by RFC 8259. This may cause downstream log processing systems to reject or fail to index affected records.
An attacker can exploit this issue only if both of the following conditions are met:
* The application uses JsonTemplateLayout.
* The application logs a MapMessage, or logs an object directly (e.g., via Logger.info(Object), which wraps it in an ObjectMessage), where the message contains an attacker-controlled floating-point value.
Users are advised to upgrade to Apache Log4j JSON Template Layout 2.25.4, which corrects this issue.
Note: The fix released in version 2.25.4 did not cover all affected code paths. CVE-2026-49844 was assigned to the remaining issue, which concerns the MapMessage.asJson() serialization in Apache Log4j API and is fixed in versions 2.25.5 and 2.26.1. |
| node-tar is a tar archive manipulation library for Node.js. Prior to 7.5.17, node-tar does not strip NUL bytes from PAX path and linkpath records in src/pax.ts, allowing a crafted archive with values to reach fs.lstat or fs.open and terminate the process with an uncaught exception. This issue is fixed in version 7.5.17. |
| CoreWCF is a port of the service side of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) to .NET Core. Prior to 1.8.1 and 1.9.1, a CoreWCF service listening on a Kafka topic stops processing new records from that topic when KafkaTransportPump receives a null-value tombstone record, causing a persistent endpoint denial of service for attackers with produce permission. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.1 and 1.9.1. |
| OpenTelemetry JavaScript is the OpenTelemetry JavaScript client. Prior to 2.9.0, @opentelemetry/propagator-jaeger decodes incoming uber-trace-id and uberctx-* HTTP header values with decodeURIComponent() without handling decode errors, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to send a malformed percent-encoded value that throws an uncaught URIError and terminates a Node.js process using JaegerPropagator as the active propagator. This issue is fixed in version 2.9.0. |
| Pion DTLS is a Go implementation of Datagram Transport Layer Security. Versions prior to 3.1.4 are vulnerable to Remote Denial of Service via panic while parsing a crafted ECDHE_PSK ServerKeyExchange message. This issue has been fixed in version 3.1.4. |
| Tiptap for PHP before version 2.1.1 contains an input validation vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to cause a denial of service by submitting Tiptap JSON with the attrs.href field set to an array instead of a string, causing an unhandled TypeError in the Link::isAllowedUri() function when passed to preg_match(). Attackers can persist malformed JSON records that permanently crash the server-side HTML rendering pipeline for all subsequent viewers of that record until the database entry is manually repaired. |
| A flaw was found in the mod_auth_openidc module for Apache httpd. This flaw allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to trigger a denial of service by sending an empty POST request when the OIDCPreservePost directive is enabled. The server crashes consistently, affecting availability. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: bridge: make ebt_snat ARP rewrite writable
The ebtables SNAT target keeps the Ethernet source address rewrite
behind skb_ensure_writable(skb, 0). This is intentional: at the bridge
ebtables hooks the Ethernet header is addressed through
skb_mac_header()/eth_hdr(), while skb->data points at the Ethernet
payload. Asking skb_ensure_writable() for ETH_HLEN bytes would check
the payload, not the Ethernet header, and would reintroduce the small
packet regression fixed by commit 63137bc5882a.
However, the optional ARP sender hardware address rewrite is different.
It writes through skb_store_bits() at an offset relative to skb->data:
skb_store_bits(skb, sizeof(struct arphdr), info->mac, ETH_ALEN)
skb_header_pointer() only safely reads the ARP header; it does not make
the later sender hardware address range writable. If that range is
still held in a nonlinear skb fragment backed by a splice-imported file
page, skb_store_bits() maps the frag page and copies the new MAC address
directly into it.
Ensure the ARP SHA range is writable before reading the ARP header and
before calling skb_store_bits(). |
| All versions of the package images are vulnerable to Denial of Service (DoS) due to providing unexpected input types to several different functions. This makes it possible to reach an assert macro, leading to a process crash.
**Note:**
By providing some specific integer values (like 0) to the size function, it is possible to obtain a Segmentation fault error, leading to the process crash. |
| Mastodon is a free, open-source social network server based on ActivityPub. Prior to 4.5.11, 4.4.18, and 4.3.24, a DoS can be triggered by (Uncaught Exception vulerability), due to missing exception handling in the math sanitizer. Malformed <math> nodes can result in a DoS of a whole server or targeted users services, depending on the type of action that includes the malformed nodes and the services interacting with it. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.5.11, 4.4.18, and 4.3.24. |
| A path traversal in handling the "path" component of .repo files processed by libzypp before 17.38.13 in the 17.x series, or before 16.22.19 could be used by attackers to fill directories on the system outside of the zypp cache with content. |
| Versions of the package ts-deepmerge before 8.0.0 are vulnerable to Uncaught Exception due to the improper handling of built-in Object.prototype methods (such as toString, valueOf). When user-controlled input contains these keys with non-function values, the resulting merged object becomes broken — any string context operation throws a TypeError, crashing the application. |
| Deno is a JavaScript, TypeScript, and WebAssembly runtime. Prior to 2.7.5, a Deno program that opens a client WebSocket connection could be crashed by the remote server. While handling the WebSocket handshake response, Deno parsed the Sec-WebSocket-Protocol and Sec-WebSocket-Extensions response headers in a way that assumed their bytes were always printable ASCII. A response header containing non-visible-ASCII bytes (0x80-0xFF) caused a panic that aborted the entire Deno process. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.7.5. |
| Information disclosure, sandbox escape in the Security: Process Sandboxing component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 152, Firefox ESR 140.12, Thunderbird 152, and Thunderbird 140.12. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: can: j1939: j1939_xtp_rx_rts_session_active(): deactivate session upon receiving the second rts
Since j1939_session_deactivate_activate_next() in j1939_tp_rxtimer() is
called only when the timer is enabled, we need to call
j1939_session_deactivate_activate_next() if we cancelled the timer.
Otherwise, refcount for j1939_session leaks, which will later appear as
| unregister_netdevice: waiting for vcan0 to become free. Usage count = 2.
problem. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: nSVM: Triple fault if restore host CR3 fails on nested #VMEXIT
If loading L1's CR3 fails on a nested #VMEXIT, nested_svm_vmexit()
returns an error code that is ignored by most callers, and continues to
run L1 with corrupted state. A sane recovery is not possible in this
case, and HW behavior is to cause a shutdown. Inject a triple fault
instead, and do not return early from nested_svm_vmexit(). Continue
cleaning up the vCPU state (e.g. clear pending exceptions), to handle
the failure as gracefully as possible.
From the APM:
Upon #VMEXIT, the processor performs the following actions in order to
return to the host execution context:
...
if (illegal host state loaded, or exception while loading host state)
shutdown
else
execute first host instruction following the VMRUN
Remove the return value of nested_svm_vmexit(), which is mostly
unchecked anyway. |
| In OCaml opam before 2.5.1, a .install field containing a destination filepath can use ../ to reach a parent directory. |
