CVSS v3.1 |
| A flaw was found in InstructLab. The `linux_train.py` script hardcodes `trust_remote_code=True` when loading models from HuggingFace. This allows a remote attacker to achieve arbitrary Python code execution by convincing a user to run `ilab train/download/generate` with a specially crafted malicious model from the HuggingFace Hub. This vulnerability can lead to complete system compromise. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: virt_wifi: remove SET_NETDEV_DEV to avoid use-after-free
Currently we execute `SET_NETDEV_DEV(dev, &priv->lowerdev->dev)` for
the virt_wifi net devices. However, unregistering a virt_wifi device in
netdev_run_todo() can happen together with the device referenced by
SET_NETDEV_DEV().
It can result in use-after-free during the ethtool operations performed
on a virt_wifi device that is currently being unregistered. Such a net
device can have the `dev.parent` field pointing to the freed memory,
but ethnl_ops_begin() calls `pm_runtime_get_sync(dev->dev.parent)`.
Let's remove SET_NETDEV_DEV for virt_wifi to avoid bugs like this:

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xfs: avoid dereferencing log items after push callbacks
After xfsaild_push_item() calls iop_push(), the log item may have been
freed if the AIL lock was dropped during the push. Background inode
reclaim or the dquot shrinker can free the log item while the AIL lock
is not held, and the tracepoints in the switch statement dereference
the log item after iop_push() returns.
Fix this by capturing the log item type, flags, and LSN before calling
xfsaild_push_item(), and introducing a new xfs_ail_push_class trace
event class that takes these pre-captured values and the ailp pointer
instead of the log item pointer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
gpio: omap: do not register driver in probe()
Commit 11a78b794496 ("ARM: OMAP: MPUIO wake updates") registers the
omap_mpuio_driver from omap_mpuio_init(), which is called from
omap_gpio_probe().
However, it neither makes sense to register drivers from probe()
callbacks of other drivers, nor does the driver core allow registering
drivers with a device lock already being held.
The latter was revealed by commit dc23806a7c47 ("driver core: enforce
device_lock for driver_match_device()") leading to a potential deadlock
condition described in [1].
Additionally, the omap_mpuio_driver is never unregistered from the
driver core, even if the module is unloaded.
Hence, register the omap_mpuio_driver from the module initcall and
unregister it in module_exit(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
EDAC/mc: Fix error path ordering in edac_mc_alloc()
When the mci->pvt_info allocation in edac_mc_alloc() fails, the error path
will call put_device() which will end up calling the device's release
function.
However, the init ordering is wrong such that device_initialize() happens
*after* the failed allocation and thus the device itself and the release
function pointer are not initialized yet when they're called:
MCE: In-kernel MCE decoding enabled.
------------[ cut here ]------------

Reorder the calling sequence so that the device is initialized and thus the
release function pointer is properly set before it can be used.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
firmware: thead: Fix buffer overflow and use standard endian macros
Addresses two issues in the TH1520 AON firmware protocol driver:
1. Fix a potential buffer overflow where the code used unsafe pointer
arithmetic to access the 'mode' field through the 'resource' pointer
with an offset. This was flagged by Smatch static checker as:
"buffer overflow 'data' 2 <= 3"
2. Replace custom RPC_SET_BE* and RPC_GET_BE* macros with standard
kernel endianness conversion macros (cpu_to_be16, etc.) for better
portability and maintainability.
The functionality was re-tested with the GPU power-up sequence,
confirming the GPU powers up correctly and the driver probes
successfully.

| n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to versions 1.123.33 and 2.17.5, the dynamic-node-parameters endpoints did not verify whether the authenticated caller was authorized to use a supplied credential reference. An authenticated user with access to a shared workflow could supply a foreign credential ID in the request body, causing the backend to decrypt and use that credential in a helper execution path where the caller also controls the destination URL. This allowed the caller to force the backend to authenticate against attacker-controlled infrastructure using a credential belonging to another user, effectively exfiltrating a reusable API key. The issue is not limited to any single node type; any node that resolves credentials dynamically through these endpoints may be affected. This issue has been patched in versions 1.123.33, 2.17.5, and 2.18.0. |
| n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1, the /chat WebSocket endpoint used by the Chat Trigger node's Hosted Chat feature did not verify that an incoming connection was authorized to interact with the target execution. An unauthenticated remote attacker who could identify a valid execution ID for a workflow in a waiting state could attach to that execution, receive the pending prompt intended for the legitimate user, and submit arbitrary input to resume or influence downstream workflow behavior. This issue has been patched in versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1. |
| n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1, a flaw in the Oracle Database node's select operation allowed user-controlled input passed into the Limit field via expressions to be interpolated directly into the SQL query without sanitization or parameterization. In workflows where external input is passed into the Limit field (e.g., from a webhook), an attacker could inject arbitrary SQL and exfiltrate data from the connected Oracle database. This issue has been patched in versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1. |
| n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1, an unauthenticated attacker could register a malicious MCP OAuth client with a crafted client_name. If a victim user authorized the OAuth consent dialog and a second user subsequently revoked that access, a toast notification would render the injected script. Clicking the link would execute arbitrary JavaScript in the victim's authenticated n8n browser session, enabling credential and session token theft, workflow manipulation, or privilege escalation. This issue has been patched in versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1. |

| A improper authentication vulnerability in Fortinet FortiSOAR PaaS 7.6.0 through 7.6.3, FortiSOAR PaaS 7.5.0 through 7.5.2, FortiSOAR on-premise 7.6.0 through 7.6.3, FortiSOAR on-premise 7.5.0 through 7.5.2 may allow an unauthenticated attacker to bypass authentication via replaying captured 2FA request. The attack requires being able to intercept and decrypt authentication traffic and precise timing to replay the request before token expiration, which raises the attack complexity. |
| Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Data Integration & Analytics versions before 10.2.0.6, including 9.3.x and 8.3.x, do not restrict Groovy scripts in new PRPT reports published by users, allowing insertion of arbitrary scripts and leading to a RCE. |
| Nginx UI is a web user interface for the Nginx web server. Prior to version 2.3.8, an authenticated user can call GET /api/settings and retrieve sensitive configuration values, including node.secret. The same node.secret is accepted by AuthRequired() through the X-Node-Secret header (or node_secret query parameter), causing the request to be treated as authenticated via the trusted-node path and associated with the init user. This issue has been patched in version 2.3.8. |
| n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1, the fix for GHSA-f3f2-mcxc-pwjx did not cover the Snowflake node or the legacy MySQL v1 node. Both nodes construct SQL queries by directly interpolating user-controlled table names, column names, and update keys into query strings without identifier escaping, enabling SQL injection against the connected database. This issue has been patched in versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1. |

| Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.62 for Perl have a use-after-free when registered callbacks extend the Perl argument stack, which may enable type confusion or memory corruption.
The Parse, print, getline, and getline_all methods invoke registered callbacks (for example after_parse, before_print, or on_error) and cache the Perl argument stack pointer across the call. If a callback extends the argument stack enough to trigger a reallocation, the return value is written through the stale pointer into the freed buffer, and the caller reads the original $self argument as the return value instead.
Calling code that expects parsed data from getline_all receives the Text::CSV_XS object in its place, leading to logic errors or crashes. Text::CSV_XS objects used without any registered callbacks are not affected. |
