CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/vfio_ccw: Limit the number of channel program segments
The processing of channel programs, and the CCWs within them, is done
recursively. As such, there is an arbitrary (but not architectural)
limit to the number of CCWs that can exist in a single channel program.
The vfio-ccw logic breaks these channel programs into segments whenever
it encounters a Transfer-In-Channel (TIC) CCW, and the combined number
of segments count towards the global limit. Impose an equivalent limit
to the number of segments until such logic can be made non-recursive. |
| In CodeMeter Runtime from version 8.40 to (excluding) 8.41a and 9.00 to (excluding) 9.10, cmu.exe --create-io --file C: creates a predictable temporary file under C:\CM-Stick. The directory and
file paths are not properly checked for NTFS reparse points, such as junctions or symbolic links, before file
operations are performed. A local attacker can create a junction at the temporary file that points to an arbitrary
system path. Because CodeMeter Runtime runs with System privileges, this could allow arbitrary files to be deleted
with System privileges and potentially enable local privilege escalation. |
| The User Frontend WordPress plugin before 4.3.10 does not restrict access to its user directory search endpoint, allowing unauthenticated attackers to retrieve the email address and phone number of every registered user, including administrators. |
| The Ultimate Member WordPress plugin before 2.13.0 does not validate a submitted role selection when it cannot resolve the set of roles a profile form permits, and screens the value against the site's registered role names rather than against the form's own allow-list, allowing unauthenticated users who register through the Ultimate Member WordPress plugin before 2.13.0's own form to grant themselves arbitrary capabilities and reach administrator-equivalent access. |
| cpp-httplib is a C++ header-only HTTP/HTTPS library. In version 0.49.0, the chunked-response trailer output path writes trailer header names and values directly to the socket without validating them, allowing CRLF sequences in a trailer field to inject additional headers or split the HTTP response. Unlike every other header-writing path in the library, the trailer-writing code applies none of the field-name and field-value checks that reject carriage return and line feed, so an application that places attacker-influenced data into a chunked response trailer emits attacker-controlled CRLF onto the wire. This enables HTTP response splitting, letting an attacker forge response headers or inject a second response. This issue is fixed in version 0.50.0. |
| PLANET GS-4210-16P2S firmware before 3.441b260626 contains an authenticated OS command injection vulnerability in /cgi-bin/dispatcher.cgi. The web_vlan_membership_edit_dialog_post handler incorporates the memberTags POST parameter into a shell command without sanitization. A remote authenticated attacker can send a crafted memberTags value to execute arbitrary operating-system commands on the device. |
| In SiSDK v2026.6.0 and earlier, high network traffic loads can cause a dropped ACK leading to a denial of service. This is only present for EFR32MG24 and EFR32MG26 devices running concurrent multiprotocol Zigbee and Thread. |
| Wazuh is an open-source security platform providing unified XDR and SIEM protection for endpoints and cloud workloads. In versions 4.0.0 through 4.14.6, a malicious or man-in-the-middle enrollment manager can crash a Wazuh agent during enrollment by returning a malformed key response with fewer than four fields, causing a NULL pointer dereference. The w_enrollment_process_agent_key() routine splits the manager-provided key into four space-separated fields but does not verify that all fields are present before passing them to validators. Because OS_StrBreak() leaves missing trailing entries as NULL and OS_IsValidName() calls strlen() on its argument without a NULL check, a response such as OSSEC K:'1' reaches OS_IsValidName(NULL) and terminates the agent process. Since Wazuh permits enrollment against an unverified manager when no CA certificate is configured, an attacker operating a rogue manager or intercepting the enrollment flow can deterministically crash agents, resulting in denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 4.14.7. |
| An heap overflow vulnerability in the WatchGuard Fireware OS iked process allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code by sending specially crafted network traffic. |
| gitoxide before 0.38.2 fails to validate carriage return characters in URL values passed to credential helpers. Attackers can supply URLs containing bare carriage returns to inject additional helper protocol fields and cause credential helpers to return credentials for attacker-specified hosts instead of the requested URL. |
| Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the DNS lookup/management component of oPanel before v1.20.25 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript and perform session hijacking via a crafted DNS TXT record |
| A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in openNDS before 11.0.0 that allows an unauthenticated attacker on the captive portal network to crash the openNDS daemon (denial of service) and potentially achieve remote code execution. This is in http_microhttpd.c. |
| The TranslatePress – Translate Multilingual sites with AI Translation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Comment Noise-Key Injection into HTML Parser in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation is possible because WordPress's comment KSES allowlist permits the payload structure — an anchor tag with href and title attributes alongside a code tag — causing the malicious comment to be stored verbatim in the database, where it is later processed by the vulnerable parser during page translation. |
| Kimai before 2.53.0 contains an open redirect vulnerability in the SAML authentication success handler that accepts unvalidated RelayState POST parameters as redirect destinations. Attackers with IdP access can supply malicious RelayState values to redirect authenticated users to attacker-controlled URLs for credential theft or phishing attacks. |
| Nokogiri before 1.14.3 (CRuby implementation only, when using the packaged libxml2) bundles libxml2 v2.10.3, which is vulnerable to NULL pointer dereferences in XML Schema processing (xmlSchemaFixupComplexType, CVE-2023-28484, and xmlSchemaCheckCOSSTDerivedOK). An attacker who supplies a crafted/malformed XML schema can cause libxml2 to dereference a NULL pointer and potentially segfault, resulting in a denial of service. Nokogiri 1.14.3 upgrades the packaged libxml2 to v2.10.4 to resolve these issues. |
| Nokogiri versions before 1.13.5 contain an integer overflow vulnerability in packaged libxml2 buffer handling functions that allows attackers to cause out-of-bounds memory writes. Attackers can exploit this by crafting multi-gigabyte XML files to trigger buffer overflows resulting in information disclosure, data modification, or denial of service. |
| Nokogiri before 1.13.9 (CRuby implementation using packaged libraries) bundles libxml2 v2.9.14, which is affected by CVE-2022-40304 (data corruption / double-free from an entity reference cycle when entity content is allocated from a dict) and CVE-2022-40303 (integer overflows when parsing with XML_PARSE_HUGE). Nokogiri 1.13.9 upgrades the packaged libxml2 to v2.10.3 to address these issues. Processing crafted XML input may lead to denial of service or memory corruption. (The advisory also references CVE-2022-2309, a NULL pointer dereference via iterwalk/canonicalize, which maintainers determined does not affect Nokogiri users.) |
| Nokogiri before 1.11.4 (CRuby implementation only, when the packaged/vendored libxml2 is used) bundles libxml2 2.9.10, which is affected by multiple vulnerabilities addressed in libxml2 2.9.12, including a memory leak in xmlSchemaValidateStream (CVE-2019-20388), a global buffer over-read in xmlEncodeEntitiesInternal (CVE-2020-24977), a heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-2021-3517), and an out-of-bounds read (CVE-2021-3518). Processing crafted XML documents may lead to denial of service, information disclosure, or memory corruption. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
gpio: sloppy-logic-analyzer: fix use-after-free via debugfs trigger on unbind
The "trigger" debugfs file has a hand-rolled ->write handler
(trigger_write()) that dereferences the per-device gpio_la_poll_priv. The
file is created with debugfs_create_file_unsafe(), and the handler never
takes a debugfs reference. Nothing keeps the object alive while the
handler runs.
priv is allocated with devm_kzalloc(). devres frees it when the platform
device is unbound. debugfs_create_file_unsafe() installs no full_proxy
wrapper, so debugfs_remove_recursive() in gpio_la_poll_remove() does not
wait for an in-flight trigger_write(). The blob_lock taken there does not
help, because trigger_write() never takes it. A write that races an unbind
therefore writes into freed memory:
trigger_write() gpio_la_poll_remove()
priv = m->private
buf = memdup_user() [may sleep]
mutex_lock(&priv->blob_lock)
debugfs_remove_recursive() [no wait]
mutex_unlock(&priv->blob_lock)
(remove returns; devres frees priv)
priv->trig_data = buf <-- use-after-free write
priv->trig_len = count
The race is reachable by root via
/sys/bus/platform/drivers/gpio-sloppy-logic-analyzer/unbind.
Create "trigger" with debugfs_create_file() instead. Its full_proxy
wrapper makes debugfs_remove_recursive() drain any in-flight ->write
before it returns.
The use-after-free is confirmed under KASAN with a minimal reproducer of
the same debugfs_create_file_unsafe() plus devm_kzalloc() pattern
(available on request); it produces a slab-use-after-free write in the
handler. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Input: hynitron_cstxxx - validate touch count and finger IDs
The driver allocates max_touch_num input slots, which are indexed from
zero through max_touch_num - 1. The current check allows a finger ID
equal to max_touch_num to reach cst3xx_report_contact(). While the input
core ignores out-of-range slot indices, reporting touch data without a
valid slot change corrupts the touch state of the previously active slot.
The touch count is read from the controller's report and is used to
index the fixed-size report buffer without first checking its range.
Reject counts larger than the supported number of touch slots before
checking the trailing byte or parsing touch data.
Reject finger IDs equal to or greater than max_touch_num, and return
immediately when an invalid finger ID is encountered so that corrupt
touch frames are discarded instead of reporting partial contact state.
The V821 Avaota F1 board configures the vendor driver with one touch
slot, so finger ID 1 is already invalid on that device. |
