CVSS v3.1 |
| OpenTelemetry-cpp is the C++ implementation of OpenTelemetry. Prior to release 1.27.0, the OTLP HTTP exporters (traces/metrics/logs) read the full HTTP response into an in-memory vector of bytes without a size cap. This is exploitable for memory exhaustion when the configured collector endpoint is attacker-controlled (or a network attacker can MITM the exporter connection). This vulnerability is fixed in opentelemetry-cpp release 1.27.0. |
| Spring Data's internal property-lookup cache accepts and permanently retains attacker-supplied strings as cache keys, allowing heap exhaustion through repeated requests.
Affected versions:
Spring Data Commons 2.7.0 through 2.7.19; 3.3.0 through 3.3.16; 3.4.0 through 3.4.14; 3.5.0 through 3.5.11; 4.0.0 through 4.0.5. |
| MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From versions 10.6.1 to before 10.6.27, 10.11.1 to before 10.11.18, 11.4.1 to before 11.4.12, 11.8.1 to before 11.8.8, and 12.3.1, during the SST the donor node is interpolating parameters that the joiner sent into the command line. Not all parameters were properly validated which could allow a malicious joiner to execute arbitrary shell commands on the donor side via the rsync SST method. This issue has been patched in versions 10.6.27, 10.11.18, 11.4.12, 11.8.8, and 12.3.2. |
| MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From versions 10.6.1 to before 10.6.27, 10.11.1 to before 10.11.18, 11.4.1 to before 11.4.12, 11.8.1 to before 11.8.8, and 12.3.1, a high-privileged MariaDB user could've used wsrep_sst_receive_address or wsrep_sst_donor global system variables to execute shell commands as the uid of the mariadbd process on the galera joiner node. This issue has been patched in versions 10.6.27, 10.11.18, 11.4.12, 11.8.8, and 12.3.2. |

| Kitty is a cross-platform GPU based terminal. In versions prior to 0.47.0, it is possible to inject commands within the subshell through kitty error. A special escape code will make kitty return an error, this error is not escaped and will be correctly echoed back to the terminal with CRLF, as such it will be run by the shell in use. To exploit this bug, the victim must use a netcat or a similar program to connect to the attacker, or else listening for someone to connect. Once this condition is set, an attacker could pwn the computer of the victim using a special kitty's escape code that will run a command in the shell in use. Version 04.7.0 fixes the issue. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
hwmon: (pt5161l) Fix bugs in pt5161l_read_block_data()
Fix two bugs in pt5161l_read_block_data():
1. Buffer overrun: The local buffer rbuf is declared as u8 rbuf[24],
but i2c_smbus_read_block_data() can return up to
I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_MAX (32) bytes. The i2c-core copies the data into
the caller's buffer before the return value can be checked, so
the post-read length validation does not prevent a stack overrun
if a device returns more than 24 bytes. Resize the buffer to
I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_MAX.
2. Unexpected positive return on length mismatch: When all three
retries are exhausted because the device returns data with an
unexpected length, i2c_smbus_read_block_data() returns a positive
byte count. The function returns this directly, and callers treat
any non-negative return as success, processing stale or incomplete
buffer contents. Return -EIO when retries are exhausted with a
positive return value, preserving the negative error code on I2C
failure. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
rxrpc: Fix memory leaks in rxkad_verify_response()
Fix rxkad_verify_response() to free the ticket and the server key under all
circumstances by initialising the ticket pointer to NULL and then making
all paths through the function after the first allocation has been done go
through a single common epilogue that just releases everything - where all
the releases skip on a NULL pointer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: atmel-aes - Fix 3-page memory leak in atmel_aes_buff_cleanup
atmel_aes_buff_init() allocates 4 pages using __get_free_pages() with
ATMEL_AES_BUFFER_ORDER, but atmel_aes_buff_cleanup() frees only the
first page using free_page(), leaking the remaining 3 pages. Use
free_pages() with ATMEL_AES_BUFFER_ORDER to fix the memory leak. |
| Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in elixir-grpc grpc allows unauthenticated attackers to exhaust the BEAM's memory and crash the server by streaming a large or slow-trickle unary request body.
'Elixir.GRPC.Server.Adapters.Cowboy.Handler':read_full_body/3 (lib/grpc/server/adapters/cowboy/handler.ex) accumulates every received chunk into a single growing binary with no size cap. Additionally, when the client omits the grpc-timeout header, the per-chunk read timeout resolves to :infinity, allowing a slow-trickle client to keep the connection alive indefinitely while memory grows. A single connection is sufficient to exhaust server memory and crash the node.
This issue affects grpc from 0.3.1 before 1.0.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm/mempolicy: fix memory leaks in weighted_interleave_auto_store()
weighted_interleave_auto_store() fetches old_wi_state inside the if
(!input) block only. This causes two memory leaks:
1. When a user writes "false" and the current mode is already manual,
the function returns early without freeing the freshly allocated
new_wi_state.
2. When a user writes "true", old_wi_state stays NULL because the
fetch is skipped entirely. The old state is then overwritten by
rcu_assign_pointer() but never freed, since the cleanup path is
gated on old_wi_state being non-NULL. A user can trigger this
repeatedly by writing "1" in a loop.
Fix both leaks by moving the old_wi_state fetch before the input check,
making it unconditional. This also allows a unified early return for both
"true" and "false" when the requested mode matches the current mode.
