CVSS v3.1 |
In Netwide Assembler (NASM) 2.14rc0, there are multiple heap use after free vulnerabilities in the tool nasm. The related heap is allocated in the token() function and freed in the detoken() function (called by pp_getline()) - it is used again at multiple positions later that could cause multiple damages. For example, it causes a corrupted double-linked list in detoken(), a double free or corruption in delete_Token(), and an out-of-bounds write in detoken(). It has a high possibility to lead to a remote code execution attack.
ImageMagick 7.0.7-17 Q16 x86_64 has memory leaks in coders/msl.c, related to MSLPopImage and ProcessMSLScript, and associated with mishandling of MSLPushImage calls.
Samba before 4.7.3 might allow remote attackers to obtain sensitive information by leveraging failure of the server to clear allocated heap memory.
An Invalid memory address dereference was discovered in Exiv2::StringValueBase::read in value.cpp in Exiv2 0.26. The vulnerability causes a segmentation fault and application crash, which leads to denial of service.
An Invalid memory address dereference was discovered in Exiv2::DataValue::read in value.cpp in Exiv2 0.26. The vulnerability causes a segmentation fault and application crash, which leads to denial of service.
In Netwide Assembler (NASM) 2.14rc0, there is an illegal address access in is_mmacro() in asm/preproc.c that will cause a remote denial of service attack, because of a missing check for the relationship between minimum and maximum parameter counts.
In Netwide Assembler (NASM) 2.14rc0, there is a use-after-free in pp_list_one_macro in asm/preproc.c that will lead to a remote denial of service attack, related to mishandling of operand-type errors.
In ImageMagick 7.0.7-12 Q16, a memory leak vulnerability was found in the function ReadMATImage in coders/mat.c, which allows attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted MAT image file.
Git through 2.14.2 mishandles layers of tree objects, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via a crafted repository, aka a Git bomb. This can also have an impact of disk consumption; however, an affected process typically would not survive its attempt to build the data structure in memory before writing to disk.
The NFSv2/NFSv3 server in the nfsd subsystem in the Linux kernel through 4.10.11 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (system crash) via a long RPC reply, related to net/sunrpc/svc.c, fs/nfsd/nfs3xdr.c, and fs/nfsd/nfsxdr.c.
In GIMP 2.8.22, there is a heap-based buffer overflow in the fli_read_brun function in plug-ins/file-fli/fli.c.
Logic error in ImageMagick 6.8.9.9 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (resource consumption).
In GIMP 2.8.22, there is a heap-based buffer over-read in ReadImage in plug-ins/common/file-tga.c (related to bgr2rgb.part.1) via an unexpected bits-per-pixel value for an RGBA image.
ImageMagick 6.8.9.9 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash).
In GIMP 2.8.22, there is a heap-based buffer over-read in load_image in plug-ins/common/file-gbr.c in the gbr import parser, related to mishandling of UTF-8 data.
A directory traversal exists in the handling of the MXIT protocol in Pidgin. Specially crafted MXIT data sent from the server could potentially result in an overwrite of files. A malicious server or someone with access to the network traffic can provide an invalid filename for a splash image triggering the vulnerability.
ImageMagick 7.0.7-0 Q16 has a NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in the function sixel_output_create in coders/sixel.c.
The jng decoder in ImageMagick 6.8.9.9 allows remote attackers to have an unspecified impact.
Xiph.Org libvorbis 1.3.5 allows Remote Code Execution upon freeing uninitialized memory in the function vorbis_analysis_headerout() in info.c when vi->channels<=0, a similar issue to Mozilla bug 550184.
Memory leak in ImageMagick allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption).
