A remote code execution vulnerability exists in the way affected Microsoft scripting engines render when handling objects in memory in Microsoft browsers. These vulnerabilities could corrupt memory in such a way that an attacker could execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could gain the same user rights as the current user. If the current user is logged on with administrative user rights, an attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could take control of an affected system. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights. This vulnerability is different from those described in CVE-2017-0010, CVE-2017-0015, CVE-2017-0032, CVE-2017-0035, CVE-2017-0067, CVE-2017-0070, CVE-2017-0071, CVE-2017-0094, CVE-2017-0131, CVE-2017-0132, CVE-2017-0134, CVE-2017-0136, CVE-2017-0137, CVE-2017-0138, CVE-2017-0141, CVE-2017-0150, and CVE-2017-0151.

A remote code execution vulnerability exists when Windows Hyper-V Network Switch running on a Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, or Windows Server 2016 host server fails to properly validate input from an authenticated user on a guest operating system, aka "Hyper-V Remote Code Execution Vulnerability." This CVE ID is unique from CVE-2017-0163, CVE-2017-0180, and CVE-2017-0181.
A potential remote code execution vulnerability exists in the PDF parsing functionality of Nitro Pro 10. A specially crafted PDF file can cause a vulnerability resulting in potential code execution. An attacker can send the victim a specific PDF file to trigger this vulnerability.
A remote code execution vulnerability exists in Microsoft Excel 2010 Service Pack 2, Microsoft Excel 2013 Service Pack 1, Microsoft Excel 2013 RT Service Pack 1, Microsoft Excel 2016, Microsoft Office Web Apps 2013, Microsoft Excel for Mac 2011, Microsoft Excel 2016 for Mac, and Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack Service Pack 3, when they fail to properly handle objects in memory, aka "Microsoft Office Memory Corruption Vulnerability". This CVE ID is unique from CVE-2017-8630, CVE-2017-8631, and CVE-2017-8744.
A remote code execution vulnerability exists in Internet Explorer in the way that the JScript and VBScript engines render when handling objects in memory. The vulnerability could corrupt memory in such a way that an attacker could execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user, aka "Scripting Engine Memory Corruption Vulnerability." This CVE ID is unique from CVE-2017-0093.

An exploitable stack buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the MQTT packet parsing functionality of Cesanta Mongoose 6.8. A specially crafted MQTT SUBSCRIBE packet can cause a stack buffer overflow resulting in remote code execution. An attacker needs to send a specially crafted MQTT packet over the network to trigger this vulnerability.
An exploitable out-of-bounds write vulnerability exists in the xls_mergedCells function of libxls 1.4. . A specially crafted XLS file can cause a memory corruption resulting in remote code execution. An attacker can send malicious XLS file to trigger this vulnerability.
A buffer overflows exists in the psnotifyd application of the Pharos PopUp printer client version 9.0. A specially crafted packet can be sent to the victim's computer and can lead to a heap based buffer overflow resulting in potential remote code execution. This client is always listening, has root privileges, and requires no user interaction to exploit.
A specially crafted x509 certificate can cause a single out of bounds byte overwrite in wolfSSL through 3.10.2 resulting in potential certificate validation vulnerabilities, denial of service and possible remote code execution. In order to trigger this vulnerability, the attacker needs to supply a malicious x509 certificate to either a server or a client application using this library.
An exploitable memory corruption vulnerability exists in the Websocket protocol implementation of Cesanta Mongoose 6.8. A specially crafted websocket packet can cause an integer overflow, leading to a heap buffer overflow and resulting in denial of service and potential remote code execution. An attacker needs to send a specially crafted websocket packet over network to trigger this vulnerability.
VMware ESXi (6.0 before ESXi600-201711101-SG, 5.5 ESXi550-201709101-SG), Workstation (12.x before 12.5.8), and Fusion (8.x before 8.5.9) contain a vulnerability that could allow an authenticated VNC session to cause a stack overflow via a specific set of VNC packets. Successful exploitation of this issue could result in remote code execution in a virtual machine via the authenticated VNC session. Note: In order for exploitation to be possible in ESXi, VNC must be manually enabled in a virtual machine's .vmx configuration file. In addition, ESXi must be configured to allow VNC traffic through the built-in firewall.
An issue was discovered in Hanwha Techwin Smart Security Manager Versions 1.5 and prior. Multiple Cross Site Request Forgery vulnerabilities have been identified. The flaws exist within the Redis and Apache Felix Gogo servers that are installed as part of this product. By issuing specific HTTP Post requests, an attacker can gain system level access to a remote shell session. Smart Security Manager Versions 1.5 and prior are affected by these vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities can allow for remote code execution.
An Improper Neutralization of Special Elements (in an OS command) issue was discovered in Geutebruck IP Camera G-Cam/EFD-2250 Version 1.11.0.12. An improper neutralization of special elements vulnerability has been identified. If special elements are not properly neutralized, an attacker can call multiple parameters that can allow access to the root level operating system which could allow remote code execution.
