CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: rtw88: usb: fix memory leaks on USB write failures
When rtw_usb_write_port() fails to submit a USB Request Block (URB)
(e.g., due to device disconnect or ENOMEM), the completion callback is
never executed.
Currently, the driver ignores the return value of rtw_usb_write_port()
in rtw_usb_write_data() and rtw_usb_tx_agg_skb(). Because these
functions rely on the completion callback to free the socket buffers
(skbs) and the transaction control block (txcb), a submission failure
results in:
1. A memory leak of the allocated skb in rtw_usb_write_data().
2. A memory leak of the txcb structure and all aggregated skbs in
rtw_usb_tx_agg_skb().
Fix this by checking the return value of rtw_usb_write_port(). If it
fails, explicitly free the skb in rtw_usb_write_data(), and properly
purge the tx_ack_queue and free the txcb in rtw_usb_tx_agg_skb().
The issue was discovered in practice during device disconnect/reconnect
scenarios and memory pressure conditions. Tested by verifying normal TX
operation continues after the fix without regressions. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
irqchip/imgpdc: Fix resource leak, add missing chained handler cleanup on remove
The driver allocates domain generic chips using
irq_alloc_domain_generic_chips() during probe and sets up chained
handlers using irq_set_chained_handler_and_data(). However, on driver
removal, the generic chips are not freed and the chained handlers are
not removed.
The generic chips remain on the global gc_list and may later be accessed by
generic interrupt chip suspend, resume, or shutdown callbacks after the
driver has been removed, potentially resulting in a use-after-free and
kernel crash.
The chained handlers that were installed in probe for peripheral and
syswake interrupts are also left dangling, which can lead to spurious
interrupts accessing freed memory.
Fix these issues by:
- Setting IRQ_DOMAIN_FLAG_DESTROY_GC flag in domain->flags, so the
core code automatically removes generic chips when irq_domain_remove()
is called
- Clearing all chained handlers with NULL in pdc_intc_remove() |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: SVM: Fix page overflow in sev_dbg_crypt() for ENCRYPT path
In sev_dbg_crypt(), the per-iteration transfer length is bounded by
the source page offset (PAGE_SIZE - s_off) but not by the destination
page offset (PAGE_SIZE - d_off). When d_off > s_off, the encrypt
path (__sev_dbg_encrypt_user) performs a read-modify-write using a
single-page intermediate buffer (dst_tpage):
1. __sev_dbg_decrypt() expands the size to round_up(len + (d_off & 15), 16)
before issuing the PSP command. If len + (d_off & 15) > PAGE_SIZE,
the PSP writes beyond the end of the 4096-byte dst_tpage allocation.
2. The subsequent memcpy()/copy_from_user() into
page_address(dst_tpage) + (d_off & 15) of 'len' bytes overflows
by up to 15 bytes under the same condition.
Trigger example: s_off = 0, d_off = 1, debug.len = PAGE_SIZE -
the PSP is instructed to write round_up(4097, 16) = 4112 bytes to
a 4096-byte buffer.
Fix by also bounding len by (PAGE_SIZE - d_off), the same check that
sev_send_update_data() already performs for its single-page guest
region.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: i2c: ov8856: free control handler on error in ov8856_init_controls()
The control handler wasn't freed if adding controls failed, add an error
exit label and convert the existing error return to use it. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
selinux: fix avdcache auditing
The per-task avdcache was incorrectly saving and reusing the
audited vector computed by avc_audit_required() rather than
recomputing based on the currently requested permissions and
distinguishing the denied versus allowed cases. As a result,
some permission checks were not being audited, e.g.
directory write checks after a previously cached directory
search check.

| A vulnerability was determined in SourceCodester Class and Exam Timetabling System 1.0/1.php. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file /edit_room1.php. Executing a manipulation of the argument ID can lead to sql injection. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: SEV: Require in-GHCB scratch area if GHCB v2+ is in use
As per the GHCB spec, when using GHCB v2+ require the software scratch area
to reside in the GHCB's shared buffer. Note, things like Page State Change
(PSC) requests _rely_ on this behavior, as the guest can't provide a length
when making the request, i.e. the size of the guest payload is bounded by
the size of the shared buffer.
Failure to force usage of the GHCB, and a slew of other flaws, lets a
malicious SNP guest corrupt host kernel heap memory, and leak host heap
layout information.
setup_vmgexit_scratch() allocates a buffer via kvzalloc(exit_info_2),
where exit_info_2 is guest-controlled. With exit_info_2=24, this yields
a 24-byte allocation in kmalloc-cg-32 (32-byte slab objects). The buffer
holds an 8-byte psc_hdr followed by 8-byte psc_entry structs, so only
entries[0] and entries[1] are in-bounds.
snp_begin_psc() validates end_entry against VMGEXIT_PSC_MAX_COUNT (253)
but NOT against the actual buffer size:
idx_end = hdr->end_entry;
if (idx_end >= VMGEXIT_PSC_MAX_COUNT) { // checks 253, not buffer
snp_complete_psc(svm, ...);
return 1;
}
for (idx = idx_start; idx <= idx_end; idx++) {
entry_start = entries[idx]; // OOB when idx >= 2
The guest sets end_entry=10+, causing the host to iterate entries[2+]
which are OOB into adjacent slab objects. For each OOB entry:
- The host reads 8 bytes (OOB READ / info leak oracle)
- If the data passes PSC validation, __snp_complete_one_psc() writes
cur_page = 1 or 512 into the entry (OOB WRITE, sev.c:3806)
- If validation fails, the error response reveals whether adjacent
memory is zero vs non-zero (information disclosure to guest)
The guest controls allocation size (exit_info_2), entry range
(cur_entry/end_entry), and can fire unlimited VMGEXITs to repeatedly
hit different slab positions.
By exploiting the variety of bugs, a malicious SEV-SNP guest can:
- OOB read adjacent kmalloc-cg-32 objects (heap layout disclosure)
- OOB write cur_page bits into adjacent objects (heap corruption)
- Trigger use-after-free conditions across VMGEXITs
E.g. with KASAN enabled, a single insmod of the PoC guest module
produces 73 KASAN reports:

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amd/display: Use krealloc_array() in dal_vector_reserve()
[Why & How]
dal_vector_reserve() computes the allocation size as
"capacity * vector->struct_size" using uint32_t arithmetic, which can
silently wrap to a small value on overflow. This would cause krealloc to
return a smaller buffer than expected, leading to heap overflows on
subsequent vector appends.
Replace krealloc() with krealloc_array() which performs an internal
overflow check and returns NULL on wrap, preventing the issue.

| Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. In versions 4.6.0 and above, prior to 4.14.5, a logic error in CheckRateLimitsMiddleware.dispatch() causes the /events endpoint rate check to unconditionally overwrite the general rate limit result. When the global max_request_per_minute is exceeded, requests to /events still succeed if the events-specific counter (hardcoded 30/min) has not been reached. This allows event injection into analysisd beyond the admin-configured global rate limit. This issue has been fixed in version 4.14.5. |
| Improper neutralization of input during web page generation ('cross-site scripting') in Windows Admin Center allows an unauthorized attacker to perform spoofing over a network. |
| Kirby is an open-source content management system. In versions prior to 4.9.1 and 5.4.1, the underlying URL methods for the KirbyTags and image blocks components did not filter out malicious URL values that resolve to script execution. The vulnerability affects four first-party Kirby renderers that produce `<a href="…">` output from editor-supplied field values: the (`link: …)` KirbyTag, the `link`: parameter of the `(image: …)` KirbyTag when it does not resolve to a known file or `self`, the `link` field of the built-in image block, and the HTML importer for the `blocks` field (which accepted the same malicious input as the image block `link` field). While simple `avascript:` URLs were already deactivated by treating them as a relative path and prepending a single slash to the URL, the use of URLs of the format `javascript://x%0A…` bypasses this protection. The `vbscript:`, `data:`, `livescript:`, `mocha:` and `jar:` schemes are affected by the same underlying gap. This issue has been fixed in versions 4.9.1 and 5.4.1. |
| Manyfold is an open source, self-hosted web application for managing a collection of 3d models, particularly focused on 3d printing. From 0.96.0 until 0.140.0, authenticated users can rename uploaded files with path traversal sequences because app/models/model_file.rb uses the user-controlled filename in File.join(model.path, filename) without sufficient sanitization, allowing files to be moved or written outside the configured library directory. This issue is fixed in version 0.140.0. |
| WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions 29.0 and below contain a Stored XSS vulnerability through the autoEvalCodeOnHTML parameter in the MessageSQLite WebSocket Handler. The MessageSQLite.php handler only strips autoEvalCodeOnHTML from $json['msg'], but msgToResourceId() reads from $msg['json'] with higher priority. An attacker can place the XSS payload in the json key instead of msg, bypassing the sanitization entirely. An authenticated attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in any connected user's browser session via the WebSocket messaging system, stealing session cookies and authentication tokens, taking over accounts through session hijacking, and chaining with CSRF to perform admin actions on the victim's behalf, in the default SQLite WebSocket backend configuration. This issue has a patch that has yet to be officially released, see https://github.com/WWBN/AVideo/commit/3e0b3ce2bfa766183ff0ae227439394db57b1a23. |
| NocoBase is an AI-powered no-code/low-code platform for building business applications and enterprise solutions. Prior to 2.1.19, NocoBase @nocobase/plugin-backups restored PostgreSQL backups by interpolating the database.schema value from _metadata.json into shell command strings executed with Node.js child_process.exec(), allowing a backup-management user restoring a crafted backup to execute commands as the NocoBase server process. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.19. |
| DataEase is an open source data visualization and analysis tool. Prior to 2.10.23, DataEase template static resources let authenticated users submit TemplateManageRequest.staticResource through POST /de2api/templateManage/save or DataVisualizationServer.decompression, after which StaticResourceServer.saveFilesToServe and StaticResourceServer.saveSingleFileToServe write Base64-decoded .svg content to /de2api/static-resource/<name>.svg without validating extension, MIME type, decoded bytes, or SVG scriptability, causing stored same-origin cross-site scripting when a victim loads the resource. This issue is fixed in version 2.10.23. |
| Allocation of resources without limits or throttling in ASP.NET Core allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network. |
| SCRAM (Salted Challenge Response Authentication Mechanism) is part of the family of Simple Authentication and Security Layer (SASL, RFC 4422) authentication mechanisms. Prior to 3.3, a flaw in com.ongres.scram:scram-client and com.ongres.scram:scram-common allows an attacker capable of a TLS man-in-the-middle attack to silently downgrade a connection from SCRAM-SHA-256-PLUS with channel binding to standard SCRAM-SHA-256 without channel binding when TlsServerEndpoint processes an X.509 certificate using a modern signature algorithm such as Ed25519; getChannelBindingData() can return an empty byte array after NoSuchAlgorithmException, and the ScramClient builder treats that as absent channel-binding data. This issue is fixed in version 3.3. |
| Sigstore Timestamp Authority is a service for issuing RFC 3161 timestamps. Prior to 2.1.0, the global wrapMetrics middleware records raw HTTP request path r.URL.Path and raw HTTP request method r.Method as Prometheus labels for latency and request count metric vectors before routing, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to issue requests with random paths such as /api/v1/timestamp/<uuid> or random HTTP methods and create unbounded permanent time-series entries that exhaust memory. This issue is fixed in version 2.1.0. |
| Shopware is an open commerce platform. Prior to 6.6.10.18 and 6.7.10.1, SVG files are in the allowed_extensions whitelist in src/Core/Framework/Resources/config/packages/shopware.yaml and can be uploaded via the media manager without SVG content sanitization in the upload pipeline from MediaUploadController to FileSaver to TypeDetector, allowing malicious SVG JavaScript such as onload, <script>, and <foreignObject> to execute in the Shopware domain when the uploaded SVG is viewed. This issue is fixed in versions 6.6.10.18 and 6.7.10.1. |
| Wekan is open source kanban built with Meteor. Prior to 9.07, Wekan avatar upload functionality embeds user-supplied filenames into paths later passed to child_process.exec() for MIME-type detection. Because models/avatars.js and models/fileValidation.js used a shell command with the avatar filename, shell metacharacters such as backticks and $() in the filename could execute commands on the server. This issue is fixed in version 9.07. |
