CVE-2024-49851 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-05-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tpm: Clean up TPM space after command failure tpm_dev_transmit prepares the TPM space before attempting command transmission. However if the command fails no rollback of this preparation is done. This can result in transient handles being leaked if the device is subsequently closed with no further commands performed. Fix this by flushing the space in the event of command transmission failure.
CVE-2024-45018 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-05-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: flowtable: initialise extack before use Fix missing initialisation of extack in flow offload.
CVE-2024-42283 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-05-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: nexthop: Initialize all fields in dumped nexthops struct nexthop_grp contains two reserved fields that are not initialized by nla_put_nh_group(), and carry garbage. This can be observed e.g. with strace (edited for clarity): # ip nexthop add id 1 dev lo # ip nexthop add id 101 group 1 # strace -e recvmsg ip nexthop get id 101 ... recvmsg(... [{nla_len=12, nla_type=NHA_GROUP}, [{id=1, weight=0, resvd1=0x69, resvd2=0x67}]] ...) = 52 The fields are reserved and therefore not currently used. But as they are, they leak kernel memory, and the fact they are not just zero complicates repurposing of the fields for new ends. Initialize the full structure.
CVE-2024-38619 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-05-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb-storage: alauda: Check whether the media is initialized The member "uzonesize" of struct alauda_info will remain 0 if alauda_init_media() fails, potentially causing divide errors in alauda_read_data() and alauda_write_lba(). - Add a member "media_initialized" to struct alauda_info. - Change a condition in alauda_check_media() to ensure the first initialization. - Add an error check for the return value of alauda_init_media().
CVE-2024-38615 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2026-05-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cpufreq: exit() callback is optional The exit() callback is optional and shouldn't be called without checking a valid pointer first. Also, we must clear freq_table pointer even if the exit() callback isn't present.
CVE-2026-31783 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: amlogic: spifc-a4: unregister ECC engine on probe failure and remove() callback aml_sfc_probe() registers the on-host NAND ECC engine, but teardown was missing from both probe unwind and remove-time cleanup. Add a devm cleanup action after successful registration so nand_ecc_unregister_on_host_hw_engine() runs automatically on probe failures and during device removal.
CVE-2024-39485 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: v4l: async: Properly re-initialise notifier entry in unregister The notifier_entry of a notifier is not re-initialised after unregistering the notifier. This leads to dangling pointers being left there so use list_del_init() to return the notifier_entry an empty list.
CVE-2025-66467 1 Apache 1 Cloudstack 2026-05-11 8 High
Missing MinIO policy cleanup on bucket deletion via Apache CloudStack allows users to retain access to buckets which they previously owned. If another user creates a new bucket with the same name, the previous owners can gain unauthorized read and write access to it by using the previously generated access and secret keys. Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache CloudStack versions 4.20.3.0 or 4.22.0.1, or later, which fixes this issue.
CVE-2026-43230 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-08 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/rds: Clear reconnect pending bit When canceling the reconnect worker, care must be taken to reset the reconnect-pending bit. If the reconnect worker has not yet been scheduled before it is canceled, the reconnect-pending bit will stay on forever.
CVE-2026-43027 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-08 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_helper: pass helper to expect cleanup nf_conntrack_helper_unregister() calls nf_ct_expect_iterate_destroy() to remove expectations belonging to the helper being unregistered. However, it passes NULL instead of the helper pointer as the data argument, so expect_iter_me() never matches any expectation and all of them survive the cleanup. After unregister returns, nfnl_cthelper_del() frees the helper object immediately. Subsequent expectation dumps or packet-driven init_conntrack() calls then dereference the freed exp->helper, causing a use-after-free. Pass the actual helper pointer so expectations referencing it are properly destroyed before the helper object is freed. BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in string+0x38f/0x430 Read of size 1 at addr ffff888003b14d20 by task poc/103 Call Trace: string+0x38f/0x430 vsnprintf+0x3cc/0x1170 seq_printf+0x17a/0x240 exp_seq_show+0x2e5/0x560 seq_read_iter+0x419/0x1280 proc_reg_read+0x1ac/0x270 vfs_read+0x179/0x930 ksys_read+0xef/0x1c0 Freed by task 103: The buggy address is located 32 bytes inside of freed 192-byte region [ffff888003b14d00, ffff888003b14dc0)

CVE-2026-31724 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-07 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_eem: Fix net_device lifecycle with device_move The net_device is allocated during function instance creation and registered during the bind phase with the gadget device as its sysfs parent. When the function unbinds, the parent device is destroyed, but the net_device survives, resulting in dangling sysfs symlinks: console:/ # ls -l /sys/class/net/usb0 lrwxrwxrwx ... /sys/class/net/usb0 -> /sys/devices/platform/.../gadget.0/net/usb0 console:/ # ls -l /sys/devices/platform/.../gadget.0/net/usb0 ls: .../gadget.0/net/usb0: No such file or directory Use device_move() to reparent the net_device between the gadget device tree and /sys/devices/virtual across bind and unbind cycles. During the final unbind, calling device_move(NULL) moves the net_device to the virtual device tree before the gadget device is destroyed. On rebinding, device_move() reparents the device back under the new gadget, ensuring proper sysfs topology and power management ordering. To maintain compatibility with legacy composite drivers (e.g., multi.c), the bound flag is used to indicate whether the network device is shared and pre-registered during the legacy driver's bind phase.
CVE-2026-31735 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-07 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommupt: Fix short gather if the unmap goes into a large mapping unmap has the odd behavior that it can unmap more than requested if the ending point lands within the middle of a large or contiguous IOPTE. In this case the gather should flush everything unmapped which can be larger than what was requested to be unmapped. The gather was only flushing the range requested to be unmapped, not extending to the extra range, resulting in a short invalidation if the caller hits this special condition. This was found by the new invalidation/gather test I am adding in preparation for ARMv8. Claude deduced the root cause. As far as I remember nothing relies on unmapping a large entry, so this is likely not a triggerable bug.
