CVSS v3.1 |
| @grpc/grps-js implements the core functionality of gRPC purely in JavaScript, without a C++ addon. Prior to versions 1.10.9, 1.9.15, and 1.8.22, there are two separate code paths in which memory can be allocated per message in excess of the `grpc.max_receive_message_length` channel option: If an incoming message has a size on the wire greater than the configured limit, the entire message is buffered before it is discarded; and/or if an incoming message has a size within the limit on the wire but decompresses to a size greater than the limit, the entire message is decompressed into memory, and on the server is not discarded. This has been patched in versions 1.10.9, 1.9.15, and 1.8.22.

| An issue in htop-dev htop v.2.20 allows a local attacker to cause an out-of-bounds access in the Header_populateFromSettings function. |
| Insecure handling of GET header parameter file included in requests being sent to an instance of the open-source project Phoniebox allows an attacker to create a website, which – when visited by a user – will send malicious requests to multiple hosts on the local network. If such a request reaches the server, it will cause one of the following (depending on the chosen payload): shell command execution, reflected XSS or cross-site request forgery.
This issue affects Phoniebox in all releases through 2.7. Newer 2.x releases were not tested, but they might also be vulnerable.
Phoniebox in version 3.0 and higher are not affected. |
| Insecure handling of POST header parameter body included in requests being sent to an instance of the open-source project Phoniebox allows an attacker to create a website, which – when visited by a user – will send malicious requests to multiple hosts on the local network. If such a request reaches the server, it will cause a shell command execution.
This issue affects Phoniebox in all releases through 2.7. Newer 2.x releases were not tested, but they might also be vulnerable.
Phoniebox in version 3.0 and higher are not affected. |
| Multiple TP-LINK products allow a network-adjacent attacker with an administrative privilege to execute arbitrary OS commands by restoring a crafted backup file. The affected device, with the initial configuration, allows login only from the LAN port or Wi-Fi. |
| ZKsync Era is a layer 2 rollup that uses zero-knowledge proofs to scale Ethereum. There is possible invalid stack access due to the addresses used to access the stack not properly being converted to cells. This issue has been patched in version 1.5.0. |
| A privilege escalation vulnerability was discovered in the web interface or SSH captive command shell interface of XCC that could allow an authenticated XCC user with elevated privileges to perform command injection via a specially crafted request. |
| A privilege escalation vulnerability was discovered in the SSH captive command shell interface that could allow an authenticated XCC user with elevated privileges to perform command injection via specially crafted file uploads. |
| A privilege escalation vulnerability was discovered in an upload processing functionality of XCC that could allow an authenticated XCC user with elevated privileges to perform command injection via specially crafted file uploads. |
| A privilege escalation vulnerability was discovered in XCC that could allow an authenticated XCC user with elevated privileges to perform command injection via specially crafted IPMI commands. |
| cron/entry.c in vixie cron before 9cc8ab1, as used in OpenBSD 7.4 and 7.5, allows a heap-based buffer underflow and memory corruption. NOTE: this issue was introduced during a May 2023 refactoring. |
| Command injection in the <redacted> parameter of a <redacted>.exe request leads to remote code execution as the root user.
This issue affects Iocharger firmware for AC models before version 24120701.
Likelihood: Moderate – This action is not a common place for command injection vulnerabilities to occur. Thus, an attacker will likely only be able to find this vulnerability by reverse-engineering the firmware or trying it on all <redacted> fields. The attacker will also need a (low privilege) account to gain access to the <redacted> binary, or convince a user with such access to execute a payload.
Impact: Critical – The attacker has full control over the charging station as the root user, and can arbitrarily add, modify and delete files and services.
CVSS clarification. The attack can be executed over any network connection the station is listening to and serves the web interface (AV:N), and there are no additional security measure sin place that need to be circumvented (AC:L), the attack does not rely on preconditions (AT:N). The attack does require authentication, but the level of authentication is irrelevant (PR:L), it does not require user interaction (UI:N). If is a full system compromise, potentially fully compromising confidentiality, integrity and availability of the devicer (VC:H/VI:H/VA:H). A compromised charger can be used to "pivot" onto networks that should otherwise be closed, cause a low confidentiality and interity impact on subsequent systems. (SC:L/SI:L/SA:H). Because this device is an EV charger handing significant amounts of power, we suspect this vulnerability can have a safety impact (S:P). The attack can be automated (AU:Y). |
| Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in a Command ('Command Injection') vulnerability allows OS Command Injection as root
This issue affects Iocharger firmware for AC model chargers before version 24120701
Likelihood: Moderate – The <redacted> binary does not seem to be used by the web interface, so it might be more difficult to find. It seems to be largely the same binary as used by the Iocharger Pedestal charging station, however. The attacker will also need a (low privilege) account to gain access to the <redacted> binary, or convince a user with such access to execute a crafted HTTP request.
Impact: Critical – The attacker has full control over the charging station as the root user, and can arbitrarily add, modify and delete
files and services. |
| OS command injection vulnerability in multiple digital video recorders provided by TAKENAKA ENGINEERING CO., LTD. allows a remote authenticated attacker to execute an arbitrary OS command on the device or alter the device settings. |
| OS command injection vulnerability exists in BUFFALO wireless LAN routers and wireless LAN repeaters. If a user logs in to the management page and sends a specially crafted request to the affected product from the product's specific management page, an arbitrary OS command may be executed. |
| D-Link DI-7003GV2 v24.04.18D1, DI-7100G+V2 v24.04.18D1, DI-7100GV2 v24.04.18D1, DI-7200GV2 v24.04.18E1, DI-7300G+V2 v24.04.18D1, and DI-7400G+V2 v24.04.18D1 are vulnerable to Remote Command Execution. An attacker can achieve arbitrary command execution by sending a carefully crafted malicious string to the CGI function responsible for handling usb_paswd.asp. |
| Gigastone TR1 Travel Router R101 v1.0.2 is vulnerable to Command Injection. This allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the device by sending a crafted HTTP request to the ssid parameter in the request. |
| StepSecurity's Harden-Runner provides network egress filtering and runtime security for GitHub-hosted and self-hosted runners. Versions of step-security/harden-runner prior to v2.10.2 contain multiple command injection weaknesses via environment variables that could potentially be exploited under specific conditions. However, due to the current execution order of pre-steps in GitHub Actions and the placement of harden-runner as the first step in a job, the likelihood of exploitation is low as the Harden-Runner action reads the environment variable during the pre-step stage. There are no known exploits at this time. Version 2.10.2 contains a patch. |
| EnGenius ENH1350EXT A8J-ENH1350EXT devices through 3.9.3.2_c1.9.51 allow (blind) OS Command Injection via shell metacharacters to the Ping or Speed Test utility. During the time of initial setup, the device creates an open unsecured network whose admin panel is configured with the default credentials of admin/admin. An unauthorized attacker in proximity to the Wi-Fi network can exploit this window of time to execute arbitrary OS commands with root-level permissions. |
