JFS_IP(ipimap)->i_imap is not setting to NULL after free in diUnmount.
If jfs_remount() free JFS_IP(ipimap)->i_imap but then failed at diMount().
JFS_IP(ipimap)->i_imap will be freed once again.
Fix this problem by setting JFS_IP(ipimap)->i_imap to NULL after free. |

dax: Fix dax_mapping_release() use after free

provider (like modprobe -r dax_hmem) yields:

Due to attempting ida_free() on an ida object that has already been
freed. Devices typically only hold a reference on their parent while
registered. If a child needs a parent object to complete its release it
needs to hold a reference that it drops from its release callback.
Arrange for a dax_mapping to pin its parent dev_dax instance until
dax_mapping_release(). |
| A use-after-free issue was addressed with improved memory management. This issue is fixed in iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, iOS 15.8.7 and iPadOS 15.8.7. An app may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. |
| A use-after-free issue was addressed with improved memory management. This issue is fixed in macOS Ventura 13.5, iOS 16.6 and iPadOS 16.6, Safari 16.6, iOS 15.8.7 and iPadOS 15.8.7. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to memory corruption. |
| Ubuntu Linux 6.8 GA retains the legacy AF_UNIX garbage collector but backports upstream commit 8594d9b85c07 ("af_unix: Don’t call skb_get() for OOB skb"). When orphaned MSG_OOB sockets hit unix_gc(), the garbage collector still calls kfree_skb() as if OOB SKBs held two references; on Ubuntu Linux 6.8 (Noble Numbat) kernel tree, they have only the queue reference, so the buffer is freed while still reachable and subsequent queue walks dereference freed memory, yielding a reliable local privilege escalation (LPE) caused by a use-after-free (UAF). Ubuntu builds that have already taken the new GC stack from commit 4090fa373f0e, and mainline Linux kernels shipping that infrastructure are unaffected because they no longer execute the legacy collector path. This issue affects Ubuntu Linux from 6.8.0-56.58 before 6.8.0-84.84. |

| A vulnerability has been found in mruby up to 3.4.0. This vulnerability affects the function sort_cmp of the file src/array.c. Such manipulation leads to use after free. An attack has to be approached locally. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The name of the patch is eb398971bfb43c38db3e04528b68ac9a7ce509bc. It is advisable to implement a patch to correct this issue. |
| CWE-415: Double Free vulnerability exists that could cause heap memory corruption when the end user imports a malicious project file (SSD file) shared by the attacker into Rapsody. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: si470x: Fix use-after-free in si470x_int_in_callback()
syzbot reported use-after-free in si470x_int_in_callback() [1]. This
indicates that urb->context, which contains struct si470x_device
object, is freed when si470x_int_in_callback() is called.
The cause of this issue is that si470x_int_in_callback() is called for
freed urb.
si470x_usb_driver_probe() calls si470x_start_usb(), which then calls
usb_submit_urb() and si470x_start(). If si470x_start_usb() fails,
si470x_usb_driver_probe() doesn't kill urb, but it just frees struct
si470x_device object, as depicted below:
si470x_usb_driver_probe()
...
si470x_start_usb()
...
usb_submit_urb()
retval = si470x_start()
return retval
if (retval < 0)
free struct si470x_device object, but don't kill urb
This patch fixes this issue by killing urb when si470x_start_usb()
fails and urb is submitted. If si470x_start_usb() fails and urb is
not submitted, i.e. submitting usb fails, it just frees struct
si470x_device object. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf, sockmap: Fix repeated calls to sock_put() when msg has more_data
In tcp_bpf_send_verdict() redirection, the eval variable is assigned to
__SK_REDIRECT after the apply_bytes data is sent, if msg has more_data,
sock_put() will be called multiple times.
We should reset the eval variable to __SK_NONE every time more_data
starts.
This causes:

| A flaw was found in FFmpeg’s TensorFlow backend within the libavfilter/dnn_backend_tf.c source file. The issue occurs in the dnn_execute_model_tf() function, where a task object is freed multiple times in certain error-handling paths. This redundant memory deallocation can lead to a double-free condition, potentially causing FFmpeg or any application using it to crash when processing TensorFlow-based DNN models. This results in a denial-of-service scenario but does not allow arbitrary code execution under normal conditions. |
| An out-of-bounds memory access flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s TUN/TAP device driver functionality in how a user generates a malicious (too big) networking packet when napi frags is enabled. This flaw allows a local user to crash or potentially escalate their privileges on the system. |
| Use after free in Aura in Google Chrome prior to 139.0.7258.127 allowed a remote attacker who convinced a user to engage in specific UI gestures to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Memory corruption while handling multuple IOCTL calls from userspace for remote invocation. |
| Memory corruption may occur while accessing a variable during extended back to back tests. |
