| canonical/get-workflow-version-action is a GitHub composite action to get commit SHA that GitHub Actions reusable workflow was called with. Prior to 1.0.1, if the get-workflow-version-action step fails, the exception output may include the GITHUB_TOKEN. If the full token is included in the exception output, GitHub will automatically redact the secret from the GitHub Actions logs. However, the token may be truncated—causing part of the GITHUB_TOKEN to be displayed in plaintext in the GitHub Actions logs. Anyone with read access to the GitHub repository can view GitHub Actions logs. For public repositories, anyone can view the GitHub Actions logs. The opportunity to exploit this vulnerability is limited—the GITHUB_TOKEN is automatically revoked when the job completes. However, there is an opportunity for an attack in the time between the GITHUB_TOKEN being displayed in the logs and the completion of the job. Users using the github-token input are impacted. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.1. |
| On affected platforms running Arista EOS, the global common encryption key configuration may be logged in clear text, in local or remote accounting logs. Knowledge of both the encryption key and protocol specific encrypted secrets from the device running-config could then be used to obtain protocol specific passwords in cases where symmetric passwords are required between devices with neighbor protocol relationships. |

| An unauthenticated attacker who can access either the HTTP service (TCP port 80), the HTTPS service (TCP port 443), or the IPP service (TCP port 631), can leak several pieces of sensitive information from a vulnerable device. The URI path /etc/mnt_info.csv can be accessed via a GET request and no authentication is required. The returned result is a comma separated value (CSV) table of information. The leaked information includes the device’s model, firmware version, IP address, and serial number. |

| Okta On-Premises Provisioning (OPP) agents log certain user data during administrator-initiated password resets. This vulnerability allows an attacker with access to the local servers running OPP agents to retrieve user personal information and temporary passwords created during password reset. You are affected by this vulnerability if the following preconditions are met: Local server running OPP agent with versions >=2.2.1 and <= 2.3.0, and User account has had an administrator-initiated password reset while using the affected versions. |
| In affected versions of the Octopus Kubernetes worker or agent, sensitive variables could be written to the Kubernetes script pod log in clear-text. This was identified in Version 2 however it was determined that this could also be achieved in Version 1 and the fix was applied to both versions accordingly. |
| By using the "uscan" protocol provided by the eSCL specification, an attacker can discover the serial number of multi-function printers that implement the Brother-provided firmware. This serial number can, in turn, can be leveraged by the flaw described by CVE-2024-51978 to calculate the default administrator password. This flaw is similar to CVE-2024-51977, with the only difference being the protocol by which an attacker can use to learn the remote device's serial number. The eSCL/uscan vector is typically only exposed on the local network. Any discovery service that implements the eSCL specification can be used to exploit this vulnerability, and one such implementation is the runZero Explorer. Changing the default administrator password will render this vulnerability virtually worthless, since the calculated default administrator password would no longer be the correct password. |

| TG8 Firewall exposes a directory such as /data/ over HTTP without authentication. This directory stores credential files for previously logged-in users. A remote unauthenticated attacker can enumerate and download files within the directory to obtain valid account usernames and passwords, leading to loss of confidentiality and further unauthorized access. |
| The ZOLL ePCR IOS application reflects unsanitized user input into a WebView. Attacker-controlled strings placed into PCR fields (run number, incident, call sign, notes) are interpreted as HTML/JS when the app prints or renders that content. In the proof of concept (POC), injected scripts return local file content, which would allow arbitrary local file reads from the app's runtime context. These local files contain device and user data within the ePCR medical application, and if exposed, would allow an attacker to access protected health information (PHI) or device telemetry. |
| System environment variables are recorded in Docker Desktop diagnostic logs, when using shell auto-completion. This leads to unintentional disclosure of sensitive information such as api keys, passwords, etc.
A malicious actor with read access to these logs could obtain secrets and further use them to gain unauthorized access to other systems. Starting with version 4.43.0 Docker Desktop no longer logs system environment variables as part of diagnostics log collection. |
| @backstage/plugin-scaffolder-backend is the backend for the default Backstage software templates. Prior to version 2.1.1, duplicate logging of the input values in the fetch:template action in the Scaffolder meant that some of the secrets were not properly redacted. If ${{ secrets.x }} is not passed through to fetch:template there is no impact. This issue has been resolved in 2.1.1 of the scaffolder-backend plugin. A workaround for this issue involves Template Authors removing the use of ${{ secrets }} being used as an argument to fetch:template. |
| wire-ios is an iOS client for the Wire secure messaging application. From Wire iOS 3.111.1 to before 3.124.1, messages that were visible in the view port have been logged to the iOS system logs in clear text. Wire application logs created and managed by the application itself were not affected, especially not the logs users can export and send to Wire support. The iOS logs can only be accessed if someone had (physical) access to the underlying unlocked device. The issue manifested itself by calling canOpenUrl() and passing an invalid URL object. When iOS then performs the check and fails, it logs the contents to the system log. This is not documented behaviour. Wire released an emergency fix with version 3.124.1. As a workaround, users can reset their iOS device to remove the offending logs. Since Wire cannot access or modify iOS system logs, there's no other workaround other than a reset. |
| Para is a multitenant backend server/framework for object persistence and retrieval. A vulnerability that exists in versions prior to 1.50.8 exposes both access and secret keys in logs without redaction. These credentials are later reused in variable assignments for persistence but do not require logging for debugging or system health purposes. Version 1.50.8 fixes the issue. |

Prior to version 2.1.3 (corresponding to pseudoversion 1.4.4-0.20250522160828-8a99a3ed231f), when using Keycloak as an oidc provider, the clientsecret gets printed into the container stdout logs for an example at container startup. Version 2.1.3 (corresponding to pseudoversion 1.4.4-0.20250522160828-8a99a3ed231f) fixes the issue. |
| Recording of environment variables, configured for running containers, in Docker Desktop application logs could lead to unintentional disclosure of sensitive information such as api keys, passwords, etc.
A malicious actor with read access to these logs could obtain sensitive credentials information and further use it to gain unauthorized access to other systems. Starting with version 4.41.0, Docker Desktop no longer logs environment variables set by the user. |
| kanidim-provision is a helper utility that uses kanidm's API to provision users, groups and oauth2 systems. Prior to version 1.2.0, a faulty function intrumentation in the (optional) kanidm patches provided by kandim-provision will cause the provisioned admin credentials to be leaked to the system log. This only impacts users which both use the provided patches and provision their `admin` or `idm_admin` account credentials this way. No other credentials are affected. Users should recompile kanidm with the newest patchset from tag `v1.2.0` or higher. As a workaround, the user can set the log level `KANIDM_LOG_LEVEL` to any level higher than `info`, for example `warn`. |
| In Splunk Add-on for Palo Alto Networks versions below 2.0.2, the add-on exposes client secrets in plain text in the _internal index during the addition of new “Data Security Accounts“. The vulnerability would require either local access to the log files or administrative access to internal indexes, which by default only the admin role receives. Review roles and capabilities on your instance and restrict internal index access to administrator-level roles. | Versions of the package ray before 2.43.0 are vulnerable to Insertion of Sensitive Information into Log File where the redis password is being logged in the standard logging. If the redis password is passed as an argument, it will be logged and could potentially leak the password.
This is only exploitable if:
1) Logging is enabled;
2) Redis is using password authentication;
3) Those logs are accessible to an attacker, who can reach that redis instance.
**Note:**
It is recommended that anyone who is running in this configuration should update to the latest version of Ray, then rotate their redis password. |
