CVSS v3.1 |
| Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 detection engine that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to restart, resulting in an interruption of packet inspection.
This vulnerability is due to incomplete error checking when parsing the Multicast DNS fields of the HTTP header. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP packets through an established connection to be parsed by Snort 3. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a DoS condition when the Snort 3 Detection Engine unexpectedly restarts. |
| Unauthenticated Cross Site Scripting (XSS) in Global Gallery <= 11.1.2 versions. |
| Unauthenticated Cross Site Scripting (XSS) in Newsletter <= 9.3.3 versions. |
| HumHub 1.18.4 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the comment-deletion notification flow. A Space administrator can delete another user's comment, choose to notify the original author, and place HTML/JavaScript in the deletion reason. |
| A flaw was found in the GIMP image manipulation program, specifically within its Seattle Filmworks file loader. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted Seattle Filmworks file. This could lead to a heap overflow, allowing the attacker to write several kilobytes of controlled data beyond the intended memory buffer. Such an overflow can result in memory corruption, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution or a denial of service. |
| A flaw was found in GIMP's file format plugins, including those for PSD and PAA files. A remote attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted image file. This could lead to unexpected application behavior or other potential security impacts without requiring further user interaction. |
| Symfony UX is a JavaScript ecosystem for Symfony. From 2.17.0 before 2.36.1 and from 3.0.0 before 3.2.0, the ux_icon() Twig function is marked is_safe=['html'] and Icon::toHtml() inlines SVG source verbatim, allowing unsanitized local SVG files or Iconify on-demand JSON body responses containing nested script elements, on* event handlers, or dangerous URL schemes to execute cross-site scripting. This issue is fixed in versions 2.36.1 and 3.2.0. |
| A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the `POST /api/prompts/share` endpoint of parisneo/lollms (latest version). The endpoint stores attacker-controlled `prompt_content` into `DBDirectMessage.content` without server-side sanitization. When a victim opens the direct message (DM) thread, the message is rendered by the DM UI through `MessageContentRenderer`, which uses `v-html` to insert rendered HTML into the DOM. The frontend sanitizer, which is regex-based, fails to comprehensively sanitize attacker-controlled HTML, allowing malicious payloads to execute in the victim's browser context. This vulnerability enables any authenticated user to send a malicious prompt-share message to another user's inbox, leading to arbitrary JavaScript execution, authenticated actions as the victim, exposure of same-origin application data, and potential account takeover. |
| The affected product accepts user-supplied input within a URL parameter without enforcing expected sanitization or encoding before rendering it within the response. This condition allows for the injection of malicious JavaScript payloads.
An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to cause the user's browser to redirect to a malicious website, modify the user interface of the webpage, or retrieve sensitive information from the browser. However, the impact is mitigated for session hijacking as all session-related sensitive cookies are protected by the httpOnly flag. |
| An issue was discovered in the rand_core crate before 0.4.2 for Rust. Casting of byte slices to integer slices mishandles alignment constraints. |
| Froxlor is open source server administration software. Prior to 2.3.8, DNS TXT record content accepted by lib/Froxlor/Api/Commands/DomainZones.php can contain HTML special characters, lib/Froxlor/UI/Callbacks/Text.php returns the content from Text::wordwrap without HTML escaping, and templates/Froxlor/table/table.html.twig renders the callback result with the raw filter. An authenticated customer with DNS editor access can store JavaScript-bearing content in a TXT record. When an administrator views the affected domain's DNS configuration, the payload executes automatically in the administrator's browser session, which can expose session data or perform privileged panel actions. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.8. |
| Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download video content. Prior to version 2.6.0, the open-external IPC handler in src/ipc/downloads.js passes a renderer-supplied url directly to Electron's shell.openExternal without validating its protocol. A compromised renderer can submit file: URIs or operating-system-specific custom schemes, causing the host to open local files, access remote resources through registered handlers, or launch scripts and applications supported by those handlers. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.0. |
| Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download video content. Prior to version 2.6.0, the open-path-at-time IPC handler in src/ipc/player.js accepts a renderer-controlled filePath without validating its type or location. If the mpv or VLC launch attempts are skipped or fail, the handler passes filePath to Electron's shell.openPath. A compromised renderer can provide the path of a local executable, script, shortcut, or other file with an executing default handler, causing the operating system to launch it with the privileges of the StreamBERT process and enabling escape from the renderer sandbox. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.0. |
| Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. From 4.3.0 until 4.14.6 and 5.0.0-beta3, the non-merged branch of process_files_from_worker() in framework/wazuh/core/cluster/master.py trusts a peer-controlled file_path key from files_metadata.json. The destination is joined to WAZUH_PATH without proving that it remains inside the directory selected by cluster_item_key. A cluster peer holding the shared Fernet key can upload a crafted extra-valid archive and overwrite security-sensitive files such as /var/ossec/etc/ossec.conf. Replacing ossec.conf can configure root-executed commands and lead to code execution after a service reload. This issue is fixed in versions 4.14.6 and 5.0.0-beta3. |
| Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. From 1.0.0 until 4.14.6 and 5.0.0-beta2, HandleSecureMessage() in src/remoted/secure.c passes a pointer inside its stack buffer to ReadSecMSG(), and src/os_crypto/shared/msgs.c decompresses up to OS_MAXSTR bytes at that offset. For an encrypted agent message on TCP port 1514 that expands to 65,536 bytes, os_zlib_uncompress() writes a terminating null byte beyond the end of the destination buffer. The resulting stack out-of-bounds write in the root-level remoted daemon can crash message processing and disrupt agent communications. This issue is fixed in versions 4.14.6 and 5.0.0-beta2. |
| The Simple File List WordPress plugin through 6.3.11 does not properly sanitise and escape a file's description before outputting it on the public file list, allowing unauthenticated users (when front-end file management is enabled) to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks that execute in the browser of any visitor viewing the list. |
| SurrealDB versions before 2.2.2 contain a memory exhaustion vulnerability in the string::replace function that fails to restrict resulting string length when using regex patterns. An authenticated attacker can craft a malicious query to exhaust server memory through unbounded string allocations, causing denial of service. |
| In display, there is a possible out of bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege if a malicious actor has already obtained the System privilege. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS11004276; Issue ID: MSV-7748. |
| In ccci, there is a possible out of bounds read due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local denial of service with User execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS10981532; Issue ID: MSV-7660. |
