| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: rtw89: correct drop logic for malformed AMPDU frames
The previous commit aims to fix issue caused by malformed AMPDU frames.
But the drop logic fails to deal with the first AMPDU packet paired with
certain range of sequence number, and leads to unexpected packet drop.
It is more likely to encounter this failure when there are busy traffic
during rekey process and could lead to disconnection from the AP.
Fix this by adding a initial state judgement and only reset status
during pairwise rekey. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mac80211: fix MLE defragmentation
If either reconf or EPCS multi-link element (MLE) is contained in
a non-transmitted profile, the defragmentation routine is called
with a pointer to the defragmented copy, but the original elements.
This is incorrect for two reasons:
- if the original defragmentation was needed, it will not find the
correct data
- if the original frame is at a higher address, the parsing will
potentially overrun the heap data (though given the layout of
the buffers, only into the new defragmentation buffer, and then
it has to stop and fail once that's filled with copied data.
Fix it by tracking the container along with the pointer and in
doing so also unify the two almost identical defragmentation
routines. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xfrm: move policy_bydst RCU sync from per-netns .exit to .pre_exit
The struct pernet_operations docstring in include/net/net_namespace.h
explicitly warns against blocking RCU primitives in .exit handlers:
Exit methods using blocking RCU primitives, such as
synchronize_rcu(), should be implemented via exit_batch.
[...]
Please, avoid synchronize_rcu() at all, where it's possible.
Note that a combination of pre_exit() and exit() can
be used, since a synchronize_rcu() is guaranteed between
the calls.
xfrm_policy_fini() violates this: it calls synchronize_rcu() before
freeing the policy_bydst hash tables (so no RCU reader is mid-
traversal at free time), but runs from xfrm_net_ops.exit -- once per
namespace -- so a cleanup_net() of N namespaces pays N full RCU
grace periods serially.
Use the documented pre_exit/exit split. Move the policy flush (and
the workqueue drains it depends on) into a new .pre_exit handler;
xfrm_policy_fini() then runs in .exit and frees the hash tables
after the synchronize_rcu_expedited() that cleanup_net() guarantees
between the two phases. Providing O(1) RCU grace periods per batch
instead of O(N).
Observed on Linux 6.18 with a workload doing unshare(CLONE_NEWNET)
at ~13/sec sustained: cleanup_net() and the netns_wq rescuer kthread
both stuck in xfrm_policy_fini()'s synchronize_rcu(), >300k struct
net accumulated in the cleanup queue, Percpu in /proc/meminfo climbed
to 130+ GB on 256-CPU hosts, and memcg OOMs followed. setup_net and
__put_net counts were balanced, ruling out a refcount leak. |
| ArcadeDB before 26.7.2 fails to enforce the UPDATE_SCHEMA database permission on the ALTER TYPE ... CUSTOM and ALTER TYPE ... BUCKETSELECTIONSTRATEGY SQL operations, which map to setCustomValue and setBucketSelectionStrategy in LocalDocumentType. An authenticated user with only read access (e.g., a read-only API token) can submit these ALTER TYPE statements via the HTTP command endpoint to mutate a type's custom schema metadata and bucket-selection strategy, bypassing the documented updateSchema permission boundary and potentially corrupting schema metadata and record routing. |
| ArcadeDB versions before 26.7.2 fail to enforce scripting authorization checks on the SQL DEFINE FUNCTION statement with LANGUAGE js. Attackers with database access can execute arbitrary JavaScript code by submitting DEFINE FUNCTION statements, bypassing security controls intended to restrict scripting to administrators. |
| SQL injection vulnerability exists in the order_by parameter of the /customers/search endpoint in Alex Tselegidis EasyAppointments <= 1.5.1. The vulnerability arises from unsanitized user input passed to the order_by method of the CodeIgniter Query Builder, enabling attackers to perform time-based queries and schema enumeration. Under certain MySQL configurations, the flaw may lead to remote code execution by writing a PHP shell using INTO OUTFILE. |
| The WPvivid Backup & Migration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the export_data parameter in versions up to, and including, 0.9.131. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. The values are received in prepare_export_post(), passed through sanitize_text_field() and stripslashes(), JSON-decoded, and the attacker-controlled JSON object keys are collected as $posts_ids without integer casting. They are stored in the export task options and later joined with commas and interpolated directly into a `WHERE ID IN (...)` clause inside a $wpdb->get_results() call in export_post_to_xml() (unquoted, numeric context), with no $wpdb->prepare() or esc_sql(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. |
| The Database Collation Fix plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the 'force-collation-algorithm' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.10 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Exploitation requires a trigger.txt file to be present in the plugin's directory (/wp-content/plugins/database-collation-fix/trigger.txt), a condition created by DesktopServer integration events such as site creation, copy, import, move, export, or deploy. |
| Zephyr's Bluetooth host declares a GATT characteristic as two consecutive attributes: a Characteristic Declaration whose permission is hard-coded to BT_GATT_PERM_READ, and a Characteristic Value attribute that carries the application-specified security permissions (e.g. BT_GATT_PERM_READ_ENCRYPT / READ_AUTHEN / READ_LESC). The public notify and indicate APIs explicitly accept either attribute, and passing the declaration is the documented, common idiom. Before sending each notification or indication, the host re-checks link security with bt_gatt_check_perm() against params->attr in gatt_notify(), gatt_indicate(), and gatt_notify_multiple_verify_params() (subsys/bluetooth/host/gatt.c).
When the application passed the Characteristic Declaration attribute, the host correctly redirected the value handle but left params->attr pointing at the declaration, so the security check evaluated the declaration's permissions (no security required) instead of the value's. As a result the encryption/authentication/LESC requirement configured on the characteristic value was skipped. The Notify-Multiple path additionally used a mask that omitted the LE Secure Connections requirement.
A remote peer triggers the disclosure by connecting (optionally without pairing or encryption) and writing the Client Characteristic Configuration descriptor to enable notifications or indications, causing the server to emit the protected value over a link that has not reached the required security level. The impact is information disclosure / access-control bypass for characteristic values the application intended to expose only over a secured link; exposure depends on the application declaring encrypt/authen-required notify/indicate characteristics and on the CCC being writable at a lower security tier. There is no memory-safety or availability impact.
The fix adds bt_gatt_attr_resolve_value(), which maps a declaration attribute to the following value attribute before the permission check, and switches the Notify-Multiple path to the full BT_GATT_PERM_READ_ENCRYPT_MASK so the LESC requirement is also enforced. |

This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. The nonce required to reach the vulnerable endpoint is emitted on all plugin admin pages loaded under manage_options, making it trivially obtainable by any authenticated administrator. |

| Jodit Editor is a WYSIWYG editor with a built-in file browser & image editor. Prior to 4.12.31, Jodit's sanitizeHTMLElement method fails to use isDangerousUrl to normalize javascript: href values before checking the scheme, allowing case variants, control-byte prefixes, and embedded tabs or newlines to bypass filtering and execute attacker-controlled script when a victim clicks a stored link rendered by an application. This issue is fixed in version 4.12.31. |
| Decidim is a participatory democracy framework. From 0.31.1 before 0.31.5 and in 0.32.0.rc1 before 0.32.0.rc2, a participant can directly load /admin/demographics/questions/edit_questions and reach the demographics questionnaire editor without the required administrator authorization. The demographics questionnaire editor should require admin access, but the route under /admin/demographics/questions renders the editor interface without checking whether the caller is an admin. A normal participant can load the page and see the live update form action, which proves the protected interface is reachable. This issue is fixed in versions 0.31.5 and 0.32.0.rc2. |

| Decidim is a participatory democracy framework. Prior to 0.30.9, from 0.31.0 before 0.31.5, and in 0.32.0.rc1 before 0.32.0.rc2, the GET /admin/organization/users search interpolates params[:term] into raw Arel.sql ORDER BY similarity expressions before sanitization, allowing an authenticated organization administrator to execute blind PostgreSQL expressions and infer data through timing differences. This issue is fixed in versions 0.30.9, 0.31.5, and 0.32.0.rc2. |
| The FormGent plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized arbitrary file deletion due to a missing capability check on the /wp-json/formgent/responses/attachments REST API endpoint in all versions up to, and including, 1.9.2 This is due to the REST API route being registered without any authentication middleware in routes/rest/api.php. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files within the formgent uploads directory. Additionally, on Linux servers where the wp-content/uploads/formgent directory does not yet exist (the default state after plugin installation), the path traversal protection can be bypassed, enabling deletion of arbitrary files including wp-config.php which can lead to complete site takeover via a fresh WordPress installation. |
